Good People, look at Afande Denno out here selling mûtungo like a common vendor after Kenyans hyped him into resigning from the police service. You fools saw a few TikTok lions and roses, started feeling like online celebrities and convinced the man to burn a stable job for “the movement” and clout. Now the gifts dried up, reality slapped him for 1.5 years straight and he’s boiling maize for a living. This is exactly why I laugh at confused women destroying solid marriages because Instagram and TikTok painted “single & shining” as the dream life. You dump what actually worked for shiny garbage, then cry when the party ends and life starts kicking your teeth in. Online stupidity is a hell of a drug. Stop believing every wave of likes is your destiny. Some of you especially Women are just one dumb decision away from selling mûtungo too. Wake up before it’s your turn!

Afande Denno is now selling mûtungo (boiled maize) after Kenyans misled him into resigning from the National Police Service. Yes, he was initially fired for participating in the Gen Z protests, which is against the police code of conduct. However, he was later reinstated after public outrage, and pleading with the CS Interior and the Inspector General of Police. Despite being reinstated, he continued to participate in activities considered hostile. During that period, he frequently went live on TikTok, where Kenyans supported him by sending gifts like lions and roses. Encouraged by this support and the influence of online excitement, he eventually resigned from the service. Unfortunately, after he resigned, the online wave died down and the gifts stopped coming. He went through a very difficult period for almost 1.5 years! Now, he has decided to venture into business and is selling mūtungo. Don't abandon him again, kindly support him.

IMPUNITY AND IGNORANCE OF THE EXISTING LAWS!!. It is deeply concerning to see so many pedestrians choosing to cross busy roads at unsafe points instead of using the footbridges provided for their safety. This risky behavior continues to result in avoidable accidents, injuries, and even loss of life. Today along Mombasa Road, I witnessed several people ignoring a nearby footbridge and opting for a dangerous shortcut across the highway. While it may seem faster or more convenient in the moment, the consequences can be devastating. Footbridges are constructed specifically to protect lives, and using them should not be optional but a shared responsibility. We shall deploy our officers to arrest anyone who is found in violation of the law, especially those who avoid using the flyovers and instead opt to risk their lives by competing with vehicles an act that often leads to unnecessary accidents and loss of lives. Road safety is a collective effort drivers, pedestrians, and authorities all have a role to play. There is a need for increased public awareness, stricter enforcement of traffic rules, and a mindset shift among pedestrians to prioritize safety over convenience. No shortcut is worth risking a life. Let us all choose to be more responsible and encourage others to do the same.

Kenya Police Service
#WCW This #WCW, we’re celebrating Chief Inspector Joyce Muga, who leads traffic operations at the Nairobi Expressway. She’s a highly experienced police officer, backed by extensive training both locally and internationally, including in China and India. Her message is simple and powerful: “Safe roads depend on responsible drivers. Follow the rules, maintain your vehicle and always be prepared every time you travel.”

What we witnessed yesterday in Nairobi was not incompetence. It is scripted impunity. The Senate ordered the arrest of Johnson Sakaja, and he was presented to the Senate to answer to the county funds misuse issues. Police had the entire weekend. They did nothing. Monday comes, still nothing. 4 PM: Senate summons the IG. 7 PM: Suddenly, police “arrive” at City Hall... when Sakaja is long gone. Then they tell Kenyans live on TV, “We tried.” No. You performed. Because let’s be brutally honest, If this were an ordinary Kenyan, especially a young person on X, they would have been arrested on Friday night. No waiting. No drama. No excuses. They'd be in cells last Friday. But when it’s pro-government leaders? - Delays - Optics - Protection Police know where Sakaja lives. Police know his schedule. Police can track anyone when they want. So who are they fooling? This is not just about Sakaja. This is about a system that protects the powerful and punishes the powerless. A police service that cannot enforce Senate orders is not independent. It is compromised. And once institutions start acting like this, the Constitution becomes optional. That is how countries slide. Kenyans are not blind.

JUSTICE FOR BOYCHILD !!! Sensitive Content Alert: Viewer Discretion is Advised!! I am concerned about the case involving Gladwell Kagai, who is alleged to have burned Steve Godia, and yet she is still not in police custody. I respectfully call upon the National Police Service, under the leadership of the Inspector General, to urgently intervene and ensure that justice is served. The law must be applied fairly, consistently, and without bias. The same urgency and efficiency that were demonstrated in the case of Claire, where the suspect was swiftly arrested, should equally be applied in this matter involving Gladwell Kagai. Justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done.

Tuambiane ukweli, we can’t be removing hawkers from walkways only to push them into back streets while another group of hawkers is recreating itself in the name of photographers. They have been given an opportunity to operate freely within the CBD, but not to erect structures that block the free movement of pedestrians. As the county government, we can’t allow this to continue. Let’s call a spade a spade, not a big spoon. This is another problem, and if it is not tamed early, it will turn into the same hawkers’ menace we are trying to solve.
