The Boys has totally lost the plot. The original premise was "nobody should have super powers, it makes them narcissistic and that leads to evil acts." Now most of the "good" guys are supes, all the OG supes are making selfless sacrifices for love, and even when the "bad" guys do something horrible, most of their victims are other bad guys. They cannot possibly pay off the first season now.

@32nds Homelander wins would be the best way to end it now. Only way to save it. Otherwise, a few will die, and the rest will live happily ever after...trash.

Oppenheimer was really overhyped. The reason this movie became so popular is simply because people had serious superhero fatigue and were craving a proper theater cinema experience again after COVID. This film is a giant piece of “rushing things”. There’s this quickness in this film that excludes viewer from stop and think and create a bond with any of the characters. John Carpenter put it best: “Oppenheimer was OK. It was alright. Everyone's praising it as the movie of the century—I don't know about that.”

And how many well-paying jobs has that trillionaire created? "The rich" as you call them, create the wealth that benefits all of us. Without that wealth- that Capital- there is no new investment. There are no new businesses. There are no new inventions. The industrial age ends. ... And within a generation, no one has healthcare.
