@QuinnMichael17 @TheQuestions15 Piñata most importantly, then Alfredo 1 and 2 and bandana. Cole’s got 4yeo which is in the same tier as piñata, and fhd which is in tier 2 with the other 3. Most people would say sss and born sinner are in that second tier as well. 5-3 of similar quality.

@Zrke24 @josip_jovII @A2HHTheGame 4yeo is Cole’s best album and born sinner is arguably up there. It’s just that Freddie has at least 5 albums better than all but 2 of Cole’s, and 2 or 3 more decent ones. Also, like you said, Piñata is the best between the two (by far).

@Critical_Scribe I think it’s the exact opposite. If it wasn’t Zelda it would’ve been everybody’s favorite game in 2017, would’ve been appreciated for its overall excellent design and mildly critiqued for its faults. It would’ve been considered for goty possibly even won but then forgotten.

Here’s a spicy take:
If someone made a game almost exactly like Breath of the Wild but it wasn’t labeled as a Zelda game, it would have gotten 7-8/10s across the board due to a lack of story, weak dungeons, and weapon degradation.
I wouldn’t have given it that, and I actually LOVE both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but people let Zelda “get away” with a lot more than other games and it gets to be a bit much to hear at times.
If something is not very good in one game, slapping it into the Zelda world doesn’t magically make the thing good. This goes for any Nintendo property btw.

@SplatwtConfess I would never have described s-blast as cool or difficult. It’s kinda unique but u think it’s conceptually overpowered, and is best kept undertuned/underpowered so that it doesn’t negatively impact the meta. Stamper is and always was awesome, and it should be powerful.

yeah, im not saying im confident it would land, but im just saying they should make an effort to try and appeal to a wider audience by having a crazy new feature (it can be something else besides bigger teams btw)
this is what the other big nintendo franchises did to try to raise the appeal, like mario kart double dash for example. they took a risk and tried something wild and new, it hit for some people and didnt hit for others
im just saying i dont want to see splatoon play it super safe for the next game, and given they seem to be taking much longer for this game, i have faith theyre cooking up something crazy

@Chase_247_ @KeionJ05 I’m sure it is, although I wouldn’t really know. Idk what would make it appeal to the west besides higher quality core gameplay? Anime collaborations? Nintendo probably isn’t going to take risks to actually expand their demographic and I don’t think team size increase will.

@Chase_247_ @KeionJ05 Does it really need to? Gimme a small art style shift, a couple more modes in pvp and sr, a bit of a gear system revamp, latency fix and a bunch of other qol improvements and it’ll be the best multiplayer game Nintendo’s ever made. Core gameplay is what drives the community.
