@Geniustechw Not true. Worked summers, two jobs during the school year and still had students loans. 1977-1982
English

@ThrillaRilla369 Yes, and I did. My parents AND my in-laws
English

@fishingnphoto @Romazehari Please tell my husband that. I am a saver. He is a spender. I never get to save. He spends it
English

@Romazehari A working husband’s income belongs to the family.
A working wife’s income belongs to herself.
English

@NathanIpYEG @TheBlueGem3 Or the MP for Tofield….Pierre Poliievre.
English

@tmsilverman Children bring their own lunch, so their poison comes from home. I am old, so have gotten fatter as I have aged. I still teach PE.
English

@tmsilverman Where I live, every person who is in our schools regularly, must get a police record check. In 43 years I have never seen men dancing in women’s clothes, porn in the library, or people shooting up. Our curriculum requires us to teach human sexuality.
English

Not a single homeschool kid regrets
not learning about gay shit
not being around for a drugged up crossdresser shooting up their school
not seeing disgusting men dance around in women’s clothes
not getting to read porn books in the library
not being raped by their teacher
not having a fat health or gym teacher
not being fed poison for lunch
not having a boy creep around the girls bathroom
being able to read and do math
English

@PrayTheRosary And men wear shorts and no shirts. It is gross.
English

@Alberta_UCP Will you be changing curriculum? I just taught Gr 6 today. Politics in Alberta. Second guessing everything in the recommended text.
English

"Parents want their kids to learn how to read, to write, to do math... they don't want them to become social justice woke warriors."
Our government is taking action with Bill 25 to keep politics and ideology out of the classroom, protect critical thinking, and ensure schools remain focused on education.
English

@david_parker Elections costs millions. Once a year is unreasonable.
English

@Gitmo99 This looks like prepared materials that align with curriculum. Have you looked at your curriculum. Teachers do not build the curriculum
English

American father shows his daughter is being given indoctrination material at her public school
An entire assignment on Kamala Harris, her accomplishment, education, jobs and how great she is
Public schools are liberal indoctrination camps. Imagine if this was about Donald Trump
#HIAW 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
English

@Robber_Baron_ Because schools have outrageous levels of rules due to liability.
English

@travisakers I have taught for 43 years. Have never made 125k
English

What teacher is making $125k a year and working less than 50 hours a week?
Matt | The Mini-Retirement Maximalist@MiniRetireMatt
The teacher making $125k per year, with 3 months of PTO, and 35 hour work weeks Is better off than... The attorney making $250k per year, with 1-2 weeks of PTO, and 60+ hour work weeks It's not even close
English

@BoomerDivvies So my tax rate is 20.5%, less than I would pay in the US. For that I get healthcare, highways, wildfire fighters, immigration workers, national parks, etc.
English

@MargTokar We can flag them but with class sizes out of control and we are losing teachers next year, nothing can happen with that data.
English

@dkreative1 @PierrePoilievre Nope. He has done a shitty job as my MP
English

Count me as one of the 87.4% of Conservatives 👇who wants @PierrePoilievre not only as the leader of the CPC but of CANADA!
Who’s with us?
Lynne Brooks 🇨🇦@LynneBr37562004
I'm with the 87.4% of Conservatives that want Pierre Poilievre as Leader Ottawa 🇨🇦
English

@RazorOil Because in Saudi Arabia a few people own all of the land. In Canada, many people and groups own the land. Landowners rights must be considered in Canada.
English

Seeing more talk of Alberta’s proposed new West Coast oil pipeline in the news, up to 1 million bbl/d to tidewater for Asian markets, yet it’s realistically years or a decade away from shovels due to endless red tape.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia runs their East-West Pipeline at full 7 million !!!! bbl/d capacity as a strategic backup, quickly repairing it after attacks to keep flows uninterrupted.
Why can the Saudis prioritize energy security with massive redundant infrastructure, while Canada struggles to approve even one new line , especially as WCS discounts widen whenever pipelines fill up with minimal geopolitical risk of anybody blowing up Canadian infrastructure…
It makes no sense. Time to cut the red tape and build, Canada! 🇨🇦🫡🪒
