We’ve discovered Vinted for buying clothes. Absolute minefield. Talk to me if you’ve got experience of it. What happens if we order something and then it doesn’t arrive?

This was written as a post in 2015....before SoB became a reality a registered charity. Before I was able to help 100's of people transform their lives without any proper funding (even to this day). Thank you. 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 This is how I have managed to cope with life and achieve what I have so far...in the main. Still working on the 'teamwork' I find it really hard to trust others but it is proving to be invaluable when you have the right people around you. My childhood was just about survival...at school I couldn't concentrate 100% because I was so consumed about my hungry belly and had massive anxiety about what would happen when I got home or how to dodge the bullies at school. I spent a lot of time alone in the Library reading fairy stories and escaping real life. When l was 16 I realised that gaining a good education would give me choices in life. I left school with 5 O'Levels grades C this didn't incl Maths I spent the next 13 years working 3 jobs and studying every hour possible to become a Qualified Management Accountant. There were many ups and more downs but I knew what my focus was...what my drive was...what my purpose was. 1) to show everyone that I wasn't thick and stupid 2) to earn enough money that I would never be hungry again 3) to earn enough money to have a roof over my head so that I could have stability...had moved home and schools too many times to count All of the above was for my future children. I was inspired to apply for a catering course at 16 by someone who told me that I could do whatever I wanted and become anyone I wanted My motivation was to leave my abusive home and give myself a chance in life to fulfil my potential and be happy My focus was to pass my exams I had to pay for all my own courses and exams for nearly 10 years so sacraficed alot. Unfortunately after my 1st child my past caught up with me and I had a breakdown. This resulted in me looking at my life and changing my career path. For the last 13 years I have been aquiring the knowledge and the skillset to become a Health & Lifestyle Coach....again to heal myself first and foremost. Now today...All the hard work has paid off...I have success in terms of a roof over my head, stability, my health and happy children. But even better than that I am now in a position to pay forward and help others. I am learning to trust others with my vision and with teamwork I am going to make S.O.B a reality that will help many victims and survivors of childhood abuse to fulfil their potential and be happy.
