@_LoooM_ Thank you for your reply! That's great to hear, and those numbers already sound a lot more reasonable. Triton shows that people are willing to pay for a great experience and well run series, but its good to not push it too far I think.
English

@Graftekkel 2) Triton One Main Event is 7,273 + 509 + 218 (~3.6 lower than your post)
Some other Triton One Events are also showing incorrect, higher rake than intended if added the way they are shown and they should be 6%+2% or 4%+2% …
We’re monitoring rake closely ~>
English

@KoningKa Link to data? Are you referring to EPT main events or all side events as well?
English

@Graftekkel FYI EPTs are unbeatable for 95% of the field, data shows (les then 5% are actual winners)
English

Fwiw not saying players shouldn’t be paying for the great playing experience, I just think that tournaments that are unbeatable for 90%+ of the field is likely not a sustainable thing. I may be proven wrong though, Triton is a strong brand
Graftekkel@Graftekkel
The new Triton One 8k main event will be 7040+960, 13.63% effective rake. Discuss

@KevinRobMartin @junglemandan The bigger blunder than shoving K9o here is to not bet your bankroll on this bet vs jungleman. I would say you both lost here.
English

5bb utg K9o with ICM
Shove or fold?
Can someone reputable run it? @junglemandan and I bet on it

.@Moorman1 took a shot to play a big pot, and oh my!

@Chris_D_Brewer So very true. Taking a break from it is a good idea if your not a superhuman like the guys you mentioned. See you in Vegas
English

Back in the United States finally and ready for WSOP. Was a strange trip for me, net profitable between the two stops, but found myself enjoying Triton the least I ever had. Probably will be taking a break from it for a while.
I think the hardest part about playing high stakes mtt isn’t the poker, it’s just showing up every day to try your best and most likely lose large quantities of money in very public fashion. The way skewed distributions work, you mostly lose.
I’m always very very impressed by the guys who can enter every mtt without blinking and being seemingly unbothered. People like Dvoress, Adrian, Stevie, Ike etc don’t get enough credit for how difficult that actually is.

@LeonidTiokhin Ik doe op dit moment geen coaching helaas, sorry

@Graftekkel Hoi @Graftekkel - wat is de beste manier om met je in contact te komen over coaching?

@RachKayPhoto Agree with this take, but it would be great if it could go both ways. If a hand gets misreported, which is about half the time, I want the dealer to quietly lean into the reporter to point it out
English

In my four years in poker media, I have spoken up about two misread hands -- both face up on the river in all-in scenarios, both very deep in tournaments. Both times, I quietly leaned into dealer and pointed it out. Both times, the dealer was incredibly appreciative.
One was for a tournament life HU, and a player was already celebrating their win, even though it was rightfully a chopped pot. The latter was a correction that negatively affected a friend, and HE even was appreciative of the fair correction.
The cards speak, and you can point something out in a way that does not embarrass anyone, but does not affect the integrity of the game.
It has always been my thought that, while a "fly on the wall," I work for these poker companies, and why wouldn't they want me to help them uphold their responsibility to keep the game right and fair. I am not "influencing" anything by imploring a dealer or floor to take a second look.
There are certainly acceptable and unacceptable ways to go about this, but in my opinion, a fair game for all is more important than being invisible.
