@simonyemane It was intentional, we have seen him do this repeatedly across 3 seasons, also when he plays against Brazilian players he brings the whole Argentina Rivalry -sentiment.

The fairer criticism here for me is Romero dribbling himself into trouble rather than getting rid of the ball earlier resulting in him playing catch-up on a heavy touch and trying to clear it. To me the rest is accidental. A red, yes, but not intentional.
