It is hurting worse after having a $9/$100 increase the two years prior.
A $15/$100 loss in buying power is perceptible, unless you’re a political mouthpiece.

An increase of 6.2 vs 5.1 is barely perceptible on a grocery bill. It's not ideal, but to suggest Canada is "an outlier" or to blame Carney for Canada and global inflation for the others is ridiculous.
