A new car hire scam. @BudgetUK will charge you £16.70 for refuelling if you did <75 miles and don't have a receipt to prove you refuelled the car. I only did 42 due to snow, filled up but didn't bother to pick up my receipt. Surely easy to prove a fuel tank is full?

@MSE_Deals I bought one last year because I had got into the habit of buying lots of small bottles of sparkling water. Not sure I'm saving much money but it's environmentally better

@Dean08772540 @NotGreenMotion Your best option is to go for a refund through your credit card company as a disputed transaction, and call Trading Standards helpline on 0345 040506

To anyone scammed for repair costs by @GreenMotionUK - if you paid by credit card you can raise a disputed transaction. The CC company will take it up with GM & will want to see a receipt for the repair. It can take a while!

@ctsi_uk And this is how Green Motion are able to continue doing what they do. It's not a single consumer issue. It's large scale scamming of customers and you should be proactively looking into it

Proactive investigation needed into 100s of people charged over the odds for damage they didn't do; inflated repair costs; charging more than one renter for same damage; not repairing damaged cars after charging. This is their business model, not just coincidence
