We have the 14th hardest to beat manager in Premier League history, whilst also being the youngest ever. We've already beaten Chelsea and City this season and are just off the back of a convincing 3-0 home win, sitting 3 points off 2nd. Yet some fans are still moaning... #bhafc

@SkySportsNews Given a full preseason and some signings he will make a massive impact, however I would be a little worried as a #thfc fan for the end of this campaign. They don't have players comfortable enough to play it around under pressure at the back and they could come unstuck initially.

According to an anonymous club source: “The likeliest outcome is that Hurzeler stays at #BHAFC for a third season, but there are no guarantees” Leverkusen are ambitious and impressed by Hürzeler’s work in his first elite football job. And they are unlikely to be the only club monitoring his progress. Source: @AndyNaylorBHAFC 🥇

Only Arsenal (13) have won more points than Brighton (12) in the last five Premier League matches. Hürzeler’s side also have the joint-best defence in that run (3GA, tied with Bournemouth, Leeds and Palace) #BHAFC

@MarkAEverson No he's literally emptied the midfield on occasion, as he did at St Pauli too. Have a read: Fabian Hurzeler: Brighton manager discusses key tactical elements - including emptying midfield and counter-pressing | Football News | Sky Sports share.google/QgHdS8mcwQebcC…

@GregBHAFC Clearing out the midfield entirely? Do you mean substitutions that just replace like for like positionally? That’s my point, that just basic substitutions, what any of us can do. Left winger off for a fresh left winger. That’s not a tactical change.

Fabian Hürzeler currently averages 1.51 points/game in the PL with a win ratio of 39%. To put that into perspective, RDZ averaged 1.39 (37%) and Potter 1.22 (29%). Is there really still a debate about whether fans are Hürzeler IN/OUT? #bhafc

@MarkAEverson Very specific examples! He's made various mid-games changes to tactics and formations, although I would say the formation is so fluid that it is constantly changing through the game. He's experimental with it, often clearing out the midfield entirely. He's an inventive tactian.

@GregBHAFC During a game, have you seen us switch to 3xCB, and wing backs, go 2 up top, add an extra man in midfield to regain control? Other than last few minutes, when Coppola would come on, or we’ve thrown a CB up front.

@MarkAEverson I completely disagree, out of our PL managers he's the only one with a genuine Plan B and is not afraid to mix things up mid-game, go direct, etc... we've seen us win ugly as well as in style under FH.

@GregBHAFC That just coming back from behind. Actually changing our formation, tactics, style of play when things aren’t working is quite different. Too many games where I’ve seen our game plan not working, and we just stick with it anyway is a serious failing.

@MarkAEverson Agree your first point is a slight concern but Bloom has backed FH to play them when they are ready, I think the reality is they are not PL ready yet. FH has a great record of changing games (5th best in the PL this season & 2nd best last season) - 37 pts from losing positions.

@GregBHAFC Yeah, huge debate. Young players are not being developed, and that’s absolutely key to how we operate. Tactics do not change and adapt much during games. If we start well, great, but if it’s not working, do we change shape, tactics, quickly enough, or at all.

Brighton are the only Premier League side with a POSITIVE Net Spend over the Past 5 Years. Interesting list to say the least .... Maybe City don't spend the most?! Newcastle spending more than Liverpool, City & many others. Aston Villa and Unai Emery massive credit.

IF we only got 4 points for the rest of this season. Fabz would STILL be the most successful PL manager for us: Name - PL Points per Match - Win% Fabian Hürzeler - 1.51 (39%) Robert De Zerbi - 1.39 (37%) Graham Potter - 1.22 (29%) Chris Hughton - 1.00 (24%)

Tactical time-outs an increasing problem in football. A few PL clubs do it. Even England have done it. Caoimhin Kelleher may have genuinely been injured - he was able to play on - but Leeds United’s frustration at the disruption was understandable. They were building, had brought on subs and then the game paused. Daniel Farke already raised concerns earlier this season. Gianluigi Donnarumma went down and Manchester City players went to touchline for instructions. Farke asked the fourth official if he was going to do something. Officials’ hands are tied at the moment. Teams getting round rule for outfield players to go off for 30 seconds after treatment. Now goalkeepers used for tactical timeouts. IFAB has discussed a nominated outfield player going off for 30 seconds if a keeper has treatment. But concern that a keeper could genuinely have been injured. Possible solution is for players to be stopped from going to the touchline during stoppages or ordered to stay in the centre circle.  Be interesting to see whether World Cup refs clamp down. It’s seeking an advantage by breaking up opposition’s flow, by giving the manager an opportunity for instructions and also it’s time-wasting - and there’s enough of that spoiling games.

@lucasbha1 So many great performances yesterday. Welbeck, Minteh and JPVH will get most of the plaudits but you're right - Gomez & Wieffer were fantastic, Ferdi & Milner too. The whole team put in a shift.

🚨💣 Gary Neville has demanded a rule change on throw-ins after Declan Rice was heavily booed for time-wasting during the Carabao Cup final. 🥶⚠️🔴 As Arsenal won a throw near half-time, Rice took his time to restart play — sparking loud jeers from Manchester City fans. Neville said: “This is happening up and down the country — the amount of time being taken on set-pieces is too much. Something is going to have to change.”

@ryanadsett I think it was more that he was clearly made to come back on to buy more time for them to get the sub ready. Should have stayed off in the first instance.

Just want to say, felt harsh from our fans on Hugo Ekitike. Clearly he was badly injured, looked like he was crying as he left the pitch too

@TogetherBHA The truth is, not many clubs offer what #bhafc do. We still have a USP. We may not offer the highest wages, but we offer a genuine route to playing regular Premier League football at a relatively young age. Players want to be the next Mac Allister not the next Dewsbury Hall.

We've talked about this at length, the true test of Tony's system is when bigger clubs essentially use it for free when agents get them involved to swoop in late. How do #BHAFC adapt? Can we?

Arsenal are a very hard watch. Anti-football on a big budget. Arteta must have been inspired by 2009 Stoke City. Half expected Rory Delap to show his face for a long throw-in. #bhafc
