@PinkDraconian I've wondered the same, I think it has to do with the code being in the user's hands, and poor mobile device and app security back in the day. Security for mobile got better, and SLL Pinning is not considered a requirement for most apps anymore. (I still wonder about it a lot)

@GregPorterfield I'm actually wondering: Why is it that's mobile apps should do this, yet with web applications, this is not commonplace?

Is the only point of SSL pinning in mobile applications to prevent attackers from being able to inspect the traffic being sent or am I forgetting something?
