Yesterday, our Deputy Director testified with partners from @AAFederation’s RISE Network, joining immigrant advocates in urging the City to pass the NYC Know Your Rights Act, the NYC Trust Act, and strengthen sanctuary protections for New Yorkers.

A quarter of New York's undocumented immigrants are Asian, and our communities need to know that the City has our backs. AAF joined immigrant advocates today to call on the City to pass the NYC Know Your Rights Act, the NYC Trust Act, and expand sanctuary protections!

Welcome, Dr. Scott-McKenzie! We are ready to work alongside you to ensure older adults have the services and support they need to thrive at in their communities!

Excited to see @HCS_Homecrest lead this intergenerational CPG initiative connecting youth and older adults to strengthen empathy and prevent hate in Brooklyn.

While the storm has passed, many of our 80+ older adults remain homebound due to snow conditions. To support them, our team successfully delivered over 30 hot meals across Southern Brooklyn today, reaching those unable to visit our center in person.

Despite the challenging weather and the approaching storm, our community spirit is stronger than ever. Today, we are proud to have 70+ Homecrest members—including older adults, youth, kids and parents—joining the 18th Avenue Lunar New Year Parade.

On Tuesday, Homecrest joined Age Strong NY’s Advocacy Day in Albany! We called for $173.5M in Proposal #50 to fund community-based aging services. Thanks to @liveonny and everyone raising their voices! Now is the time to act!

We joined the #AAPIEquityBudget Coalition on Tuesday in Albany with @cacf, @AAFederation, and many other AAPI organizations to advocate for $54.35M in this year’s budget to invest in the services and support our communities need to thrive!
