@SpeakerMcCarthy Mr. McCarthy - did you actually attend law school before becoming a member of the United States Congress?  Presidents don’t indict people, the Department of Justice does.  And Americans who REALLY "believe in the rule of law," wait to see the evidence before making a judgement.

Today is indeed a dark day for the United States of America. It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him. Joe Biden kept classified documents for decades. I, and every American who believes in the rule of law, stand with President Trump against this grave injustice. House Republicans will hold this brazen weaponization of power accountable.

The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct. Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda.

@maggieNYT There should be some sort of basic test tied to the laws in the Constitution, that anyone running for a legislative office must pass in order to qualify.  Ms. Greene is seemingly quite unfamiliar with the text.

Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his illicit Russian contacts. His lies do not now become truths. This dismissal does not exonerate him. But it does incriminate Bill Barr. In the worst politicization of the Justice Department in its history.

@SecCivileFrance Thankfully, Trump did not suggest you should have raked the floor of Notre Dame. My heart goes out to all of those who treasured Notre Dame and to the brave people who fought the fire, and from what I can tell from saved photos, saved quite a bit.

Hundreds of firemen of the Paris Fire Brigade are doing everything they can to bring the terrible #NotreDame fire under control. All means are being used, except for water-bombing aircrafts which, if used, could lead to the collapse of the entire structure of the cathedral.
