@Shrink_at_Large I can genuinely say I don’t think I’ve ever met a client who has been given the pd diagnosis where I have doubted their grit, infact it is their grit which at times genuinely leave me in awe. Somethings clearly wrong with the measure if this is the findings!

“Lack of grit”? Funny, I can’t imagine an article discussing a lack of ‘grit’ in recovery from cancer, depression, headaches, or cPTSD. But when it comes to the PD construct, it’s about personal toughness—not lifelong trauma, social disadvantage, or undiagnosed neurodivergence..
