A big issue for a former NA star like Brehze to return to action is the fairly wide gap between what he probably feels is a fair salary and the actual salaries for an NA player in his position. Teams that could meet his salary expectation are unlikely to be interested while teams that would be interested are unable to meet his salary expectation. Considering only a handful of NA orgs are paying more than $500 a month right for players salaries, unless he was willing to join a team like BOSS for the love of the game there's really no way to bridge the gap and prove himself again in structured competition.
