@VideoGameHstry For a Nintendo Mount Rushmore, let's have Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Yoshi.
For Sega Mount Rushmore, Sonic, Ristar, Bug, and Vectorman.
@skelton719561@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ The purpose of an academy is to make your team stronger. All you've done is strengthen a European rival for £60m. Fermin is currently worth 100m, more than Hakimi sold for, and for good reason. Again, La Fabrica hasn't done anything in the last 10 years to strengthen your squad.
@HamlaJr1@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ well we talking about academy here doesnt have to be a madrid player hakimi did more than any barca academy player last 10 years same with morata same with llornte i cant believe ur bringing gavi and fermin and some unknown geeks into this convo
Why do they feel the need to lie about something like this?
Pedri being from La Masia just isn’t a thing. He’s never set foot in the academy, everyone knows this. Even Araujo, never La Masia.
We produce enough elite talents to *not* feel the need to lie about it.
@skelton719561@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ Last 10 years, as in came out of the academy in the last 10 years. Nacho has been a bench player for his entire career, Hakimi barely played a part in your ucl win. Only Carvajal was a starter for a trophy winning squad, and he made his debut in 2013. No new talents in the squad.
@skelton719561@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ Fermin has more g/a than games in the ucl this season, which is all your fanbase seems to care about. If you're comparing Morata to Fermin who hasn't even hit his prime, then I don't know what to tell you. Besides, Morata gained most of his success at your city rivals.
@HamlaJr1@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ Cucurella yes others just bums that no one rates apart from barca fans and their pr u did not compare morata and llornte to fucking gavi and fermin and bernardo or bernarl who ever that is lol
@skelton719561@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ You're dodging the question. Name 1 player who played a starting role that has won you a professional trophy from La Fabrica in the last 10 years. Your academy has been proven useless since Casillas. Don't give me that "more ucl" bs. Your academy hasn't won you anything recently
@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ None of this have a ucl medal besides they can only work in Barcelona just bunch of average players feel like madrid in the last 10 yeara giving morata llornte hakimi carvajal odeegard is better than making 12 average bums
@skelton719561@bt21ee01484937@NealGardner_ What La Fabrica talent in the last 10 years has played a starting role in winning a LaLiga or ucl? I can name about 7 La Masia talents who've done so (not to mention the euros). The ucl isn't the end all be all, otherwise LaLiga would be pointless.
@bt21ee01484937@skelton719561@NealGardner_ Cubarsi, Fermin, Cucurella and Bernal are seriously elite (Balde and Gavi might still be elite)
They haven't reached their ceiling yet and are putting up consistent performances week in, week out
@skelton719561@NealGardner_ Don't know about seriously elite, but la masia has made gavi, curbasi, bernal, dani olmo, fermin, abde, ezoulli, Xavi simminos, grimaldo. Know most of them are not elite, but still amazing work comparatively to others
@JulessFC@MagicalXavi Y'all were saying Chevalier was a better signing at the start of the season. If Joan is an "average" keeper Sofanov & Chevalier are terrible.
@MagicalXavi I’m not even hating , this isn’t anything special. Any GK at pro level should be moving like this. But of course he plays for Barca so the average shit he’s doing is superior to the other average shit GK’s do.
@madridfanacc@theMadridZone Playtime is important for a call-up. He wouldn't be a starter at Madrid (behind Vini) which might mean he wouldn't get called up. For example Endrick wouldn't get called up if he played for Madrid right now. Muñoz is definitely good enough for a call-up though.
@madridfanacc@theMadridZone Lol, if you actually watched LaLiga, you'd know Muñoz is way better. One of the most under appreciated players in the league
@Luftstalag14@BarcaTimes I just hope the new candidates will focus more on their actual plan than they did this election. It was just "LaporTrump" "Xavi and Messi were mistreated" without focussing on how they would actually propel the club forward.
@BarcaTimes That’s why we are a democratic institution which I am immensely proud of. I hope in 5 years we will have mature candidates, whether be Font or Ciria (who I really liked), or someone else to step up to the plate to lead us to even more success.
🚨 Reminder: Joan Laporta will not be able to run for the presidency of FC Barcelona in 2031.
According to the club’s statutes, a president can serve a maximum of TWO consecutive terms. Once those two terms are completed, they must step down and cannot run for a third consecutive mandate. #fcblive
@HamlaJr1@NealGardner_ Yes, I am suggesting that the club with the highest revenue in world football has the spending power of PL Clubs.
Madrid were the biggest spenders in football between 2000 & 2015 when they were famously signing ‘galacticos’ & breaking transfer records all the time.
@Stevie__2@NealGardner_ What you're showing is revenue generated, which doesn't corelate with spending power. Bayern are operating under the 50 plus 1 rule and Barca & Madrid are forced under LaLiga's strict ffp rules. In Barca's case, they're only allowed to spend half their allowed salary revenue
@Stevie__2@NealGardner_ Are you suggesting Madrid have anywhere close to the spending power of the PL?? Madrid have spent 488 million the last 6 summers. In this time, Chelsea have spend 2.08 billion, and your own club Untited, who've stunk it up every season, have spent 1.17 billion.
@Stevie__2@NealGardner_ The spending power of the top prem teams is huge. Arsenal, City and Chelsea have at least 2 good players in every position and are able to rotate without issues. Meanwhile Madrid are forced to rely on youngsters in an injury ridden squad and still didn't give City a sniff.
@HamlaJr1@NealGardner_ Nobody is saying PL teams cannot compete for all trophies here.
The point is it’s a tougher league, and Bale along with 90% of professionals & managers who have played & managed in the PL all say the same thing.
@Stevie__2@NealGardner_ In the prem's history 2 trebles have been won. In Serie A (historically more dominant than the prem), only Inter has won one. In LaLiga it's two, and it Bundesliga & Ligue 1 it's also one. This shows that teams in the prem are able to compete in all comps like the other leagues
@HamlaJr1@NealGardner_ You’ve missed the point entirely.
It’s not just about 1 game before a UCL game.
It’s about week in week out the intensity & physicality of the PL is much more demanding.
Players will feel the effects of this as the season goes on. Not to mention no winter break either.
@Stevie__2@NealGardner_ The same amount of games are played in the prem as the Serie A & LaLiga, so winter break doesn't matter, games are just more crammed later in the season. It's a matter of priority whether prem teams want to focus on the prem or CL, just like every other team.
