🗳️ Updated the table of my votes to eliminate proposals #15 (political neutrality policy) and #16 (Computershare), as the SEC accepted these to be excluded, they don't show up in the definitive proxy filing. Also added required votes, and if Elon and Kimbal can participate.

I want to make small short post .. that I don't normally make. While I was waiting to give @anuarbekiman his first @robotaxi ride. A Bloomberg reporter again came up to me and begged for a sound bite or an opinion of my Robotaxi experience. All I could come up with was .. No, sorry.. all of you blew your chance .. its over. She walked way without saying anything else... end of story. No argument or debate. Just walked away. We are the media now.

@thejefflutz @munster_gene You are absolutely right jeff. I watch all your podcasts with Herbert and there is no one better than you to analyse what it entails to change the production lines to a new model. Looks Like Gene is Going Ross Gerber's way. He has lost his way!

I estimate brand damage cost Tesla around 80k deliveries in the quarter. This is based on the assumption that Tesla would have grown at least in line with the overall EV market in March, which was up 10% year-over-year. I believe roughly 90% of the shortfall was due to brand-related issues, with the remaining 10% attributed to the Model Y refresh transition.

Possibly an agreement with Modi on low / zero import duty tied to a future @Tesla Gigafactory being built there… the reqs below are to deliver & service vehicles as imports (from Berlin) imho … major new market for $TSLA … timely for the new lower cost vehicles too

I'm getting a lot of people telling me that Elon should stop his political work because its impacting the Tesla share price. I'm letting them all know...I don't give a fig about the impact on the share price: if the Trump administration (and DOGE) does not fix the deficit, my Tesla shares - and everyone's US stocks and bonds will be worthless. We are, as a country, in an existential crisis. Our 237 year old constitution is under enormous strain, threatened two dynamically reinforcing, but grave threats: profligate spending and the bureaucratic state that encourages it. In my judgement these are more serious challenges to our nation than was even the Civil War.

Had intended to join in Oct. 2008, but Tesla was actually in the middle of major layoffs. Jalopnik had initiated a Tesla Deathwatch. My offer letter was written with a January start date as a result (with the implication that there would be no company, and no job, unless Tesla raised money before then). The momentous Dec. 2008 financing round that @elonmusk describes here, therefore, has personal significance. I was able to start ~10 days later. x.com/teslaownersSV/…

Today marks sixteen years since my first day at Tesla, and this year (yet again) seems like it will be our most exciting yet. In January 2009, we had ~300 people, made one vehicle per day, and had enough cash to last about four weeks. It is sometimes hard to believe how dramatically these metrics have improved! Over this time, two things I have enjoyed the most have been the levels of 1) collaboration and 2) urgency towards our mission. Building an EV company during the global financial crisis was likely to fail, but everyone at Tesla knew that even in failure we would accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. On collaboration: I've been fortunate to learn from the world's best about concepts as wide-ranging as stainless steel alloys to AI models - not just out of personal interest, but also because the collective knowledge of the company is considered a shared resource. Everyone contributes to solving problems together regardless of job description or title. In 2025, we continue to pursue our mission with the same collaboration and urgency as always, and with a product roadmap that covers more areas than was ever possible in the early days. And just like sixteen years ago, I am fortunate to be a part of it.

@ian_e_richards @heydave7 @stevenmarkryan And yet investors who own only $TSLA shares have dramatically underperformed those who own a concentrated portfolio of growth names. Here are returns for YTD, 1 year, and 2 years.

Why do retail investors have an ‘edge’ when Wall Street analysts have more time, access to management, and more resources? Because the process is fundamentally different. The way @heydave7 or @stevenmarkryan thinks about a business is fundamentally different to Gary Black. Back in the day @AndreaSJames looked at Tesla in a different way to her peers, even though the mechanics of the process was similar (huge multi-tabbed spreadsheet models etc.). She was able to rise above rigid Wall Street thinking and see the opportunity, which made her far more successful in predicting the future for Tesla. Today we are lucky to have many in the Tesla community that are able to think more imaginatively and see the opportunities ahead of us. It is a great asset. Thank you guys!

@garyblack00 Gary, why do you keep talking about this? Let it go, please. Who cares what you did to your own shares and in the past? Why do you always ask for "Mother, may I sell my stock? Or mother, i sold because of X,Y, and Z."

Our sell discipline kicks in when: 1/ Stock nears our price target 2/ Investment thesis changes 3/ Near-term expectations get too high 4/ Strategy change/CEO leaves We stand by our decision to trim $TSLA from a 12.5% position (#1) in Sept 2022 to 3.8% today (#5). During that period, $TSLA -9% vs NDX +66%, and we significantly increased our NVDA position from 2.0% to 7.4% today (now #2), which has been additive to our performance. Our TSLA 2Q delivs forecast was clearly too conservative (-5% YoY actual vs -10% YoY exp) but in the end clients expect us to follow our research and valuation disciplines. Price targets are theoretical valuations of what analysts believe a stock is worth based on future earnings or cash flow. Many people here conflate price and value. Price is what you pay; value is what you get. Raising a price target (i.e., value) means our fundamental valuation on a stock has changed. We may or may not increase a stock’s position size after we’ve raised our price target. It depends on our continuous assessment of upside/downside of the stock (price vs value) vs all other stocks in our portfolio.
