Today, Helping Heart Family Rwanda, as a member of the Youth Advocate Network (#YAN), joined fellow youth-led organizations in an Umuganda activity at Nyanza Genocide Memorial in commemoration of the 32nd Anniversary of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. As part of a network of over 70 youth-led organizations across Rwanda, this activity brought young people together to honor the victims, reflect on our history, and contribute to the preservation of memorial sites. Minister @JoNsengimana who also serves as the Chancellor of the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD), earlier today ,presided over the Institute’s 14th Graduation Ceremony, during which over 400 candidates were awarded certificates in Legal Practice.

Yesterday, Helping Heart Family Rwanda (HHFR) proudly celebrated 11 members who earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development @LegalPracticeRW at its 14th graduation in Nyanza. Congratulations to: RWIKAZA Gentil, Baho Ntaganira Winny, Bishakwe Sarno, Bagirinka Zuhla, Niyomugabo Felicier, Munyana Esther, Batamuriza Dorothy, Mbanjineza Jerome, Adv. Iradukunda Cadeau Patrick, Hategekimana Patrick, and Ingabire Jesica. This milestone strengthens our mission through #UbutaberaButangiriramuMuryango—promoting legal awareness, ADR, and access to justice, especially for families and rural communities. Over the past two days (24th–25th March, 2026), @HelpingHeartFam actively participated in a dynamic and impactful training on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), organized by @chbrwanda in partnership with @UnescoEast and @RBCRwanda. The training focused on strengthening youth leadership in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of CSE interventions across Rwanda. Through interactive sessions, we explored real-life challenges affecting young people using tools such as problem and objective tree analysis helping us uncover root causes and develop practical, solution-oriented responses. We also strengthened our capacity in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), building skills in setting clear indicators, defining baselines, and using data effectively to measure impact and inform action. At #HHFR, we believe that equipping young people with accurate information on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) is essential to building healthier and more informed communities. Now is the time to act. Today, Helping Heart Family Rwanda reached 34 vulnerable families in Nyawera Cell, @KayonzaDistrict bringing real hope through education and empowerment. Through our “#TumurereYize” Program, 40 children (ages 9–15) will be supported with school materials and continuous guidance ensuring they stay in school, learn, and build a brighter future. Because preventing dropout is not only about access it’s about support, mentorship, and care. At the same time, we are empowering parents through “Mfata Akaboko Sinzagutenguha”, strengthening families to sustain their children’s education. Today, we also elected a committee to lead the Itsinda Abishyizehamwe savings group promoting unity and long-term resilience. Keep a child in school.
