Last week I went to @ITB_Berlin (world's biggest travel conference 🤯) - I took an @evieondemand A2B to the airport as usual... but forgot it was linked to my personal account 🤦‍♂️ Expense management was already part of @HeyHelixAI but we just streamlined the process - dealt with in seconds by forwarding my receipt; auto-linked to my trip, automatically extracted the details, one-click to submit. Last Thursday, Vincent Sider and I delivered Leadership Labs: The AI Executive Briefing for @DigitalJersey members. We focused on two big shifts: 1️⃣ AI Agents - What they are, what they can do today, and why observability + testing matter when moving from POC to production. And yes, @Microsoft shops can use Copilot… but for full flexibility you can deploy @Azure-hosted @OpenAI models privately and securely in your own cloud. 2️⃣ GEO (Generative AI Engine Optimisation) - People are asking @ChatGPTapp what they used to ask Google. What does that mean for your business? Vincent shared insights from GeoJersey and even ran a mini awards ceremony for sectors leading in AI visibility. We ran a quick survey on AI maturity + blockers. Key themes: • Budgets - Hard to justify unless ROI is clear. • Accuracy concerns - GenAI can hallucinate (ChatGPT totally invented a WhatsApp transcription for me recently!). But well-designed agentic workflows with tools, structure and constraints dramatically reduce risk. • Security & privacy - If you’re already in Microsoft/@awscloud - using their hosted models rarely increases your exposure. Still buzzing from this weekend’s AI Hackathon at @DigitalJersey - Charlie and I picked up “Best Real-World Solution” for our "ADHD Care Hub" 🚀 We jumped in last-minute on Friday with a brief limited in specificity - “solve an island problem with AI”. We tackled something that actually matters: ADHD support in Jersey, where the diagnosis wait list is pushing five years. Huge thanks to Rachel Boss @ADHDJersey and Dr. Jane Sedgwick-Müller for jumping on calls/messages all weekend while we ran Deep Research queries, validated assumptions, and sprint-built the product. By Sunday morning (4–5am finish 😅) we had it fully deployed for judges to test. A few AI highlights: • GPT-5 + GPT-5 Mini for clinical decision support • Structured @pydantic agents for conversational ADHD assessments • RAG pipeline with Sentence-Transformers + @NICEComms & @rcpsych guidelines • Vector search, semantic retrieval, custom embeddings • @DeepgramAI STT for real-time voice-note transcription Massive thanks to Jersey AI Forum, Digital Jersey, all sponsors, organisers and judges and congrats to the other winners and teams 👏 We’re keeping this initiative going and will be looking for support to push it forward.
