@velvetgh0st I’m not a fan of the horrible heat of summer myself but happy that I can hopefully save a small amount of money not having to heat my home all day and night. There is always a positive side.

@Xenakisspiral @itsbinkybee @madmaxthesequal Wonder if she’d be so vocal if this was the head of religion that was usually subject to discrimination (Jew/Muslim) Probably not as that would be considered a hate crime. Why are catholics open to ridicule? I don’t agree with the Pope’s statement but can not be a dick about it.

@velvetgh0st This 🖕 kind of attitude just enables people to be dicks in real life to people who aren’t complying with their decisions and beliefs. I’m not an anti masker and still wear mine in public just sad and scary to see such aggression and quick judgement of people ❤️❤️

@velvetgh0st Yes, be sensible and safe in respect of others and their personal space but generalising all people not wearing masks as selfish, rude or disrespectful is wrong especially as they may not be wearing one for medical or other reasons that can’t be seen ❤️❤️

@rachelhenson Cause she’s an idiot who thinks her human rights are in some way violated by small piece of fabric covering her nose and mouth. Probs not even had to wear a mask that much herself anyway as she no doubt works from home in a big fancy house that being a public imbecile has funded.

@JuliaHB1 @minday76 @Waterstones I've been working with the public throughout the pandemic, wearing a mask for 8 hours every day. I go out to the shops and wear a mask. It's a bit inconvenient but it's not a big ask really, why kick off about it?

I make a point of buying books at my local @Waterstones rather than ordering on Amazon because I want bookstores to thrive, but if I go into your store and a member of staff asks me to wear a mask, you will lose my business forever.
