People trying to bull post the bear market are cringe. Let everyone be sad and miserable about the death of CT. It's funny and I get a kick out of it. The bull does not come back until we see max pain anyway. More positive negativity coming your way soon.

@_offmylawn @BiffChain Sure. But then if the PMF becomes mostly scammers chancing their luck you start to get a reputation. I do not think anyone has any apteite for any more kickstarter backed MMOs

@HighoneTAG @BiffChain you could say the same about any startup 99% of startups fail, this is not a consequence of kickstarter, this is just how it is the fact that oculus, the biggest VR company of all time, originated from kickstarter, is undeniable proof of kickstarter's PMF

Gamers always push back on new monetization in AAA and usually for good reason. But the models that survive follow a clear pattern: Reject → Refine → Normalize → Standardize Web3 will take longer due to complexity + broader stigma… …but the upside of onchain economies and crowdfunding models is too strong to ignore. It’s not “if”, it’s "how" it evolves 💪

web3 gaming will never work because gamers hate crypto and will never touch anything crypto related (they are stubborn)

Community managers own retention. And still get paid like moderators. From what I see (monthly): · Junior: $500-1K · Mid: $1-2.5K · Senior: $3K+ Retention, insight, brand... same role. Why is it still undervalued?

crowdfunding is a proven, working, successful model look at patreon and kickstarter for example web3 games are not following this model - they are selling in-game tokens meant to be earned by players to VCs at extremely low valuations to dump on the heads of players that purchase tokens because they believe they are "purchasing ownership" of the game when in reality most tokens are vaporwave memecoins ESPECIALLY gaming tokens

seeing a lot of FUD on my timeline about defi guys, if you're just chasing yield numbers, you're missing the point the purpose of defi is to be able to permissionlessly, trustlessly, and immutably get your funds stolen by north korea

When we launched the aGDP incentive program, the goal was simple: accelerate agent commerce adoption. Here's where it stands today: > Up to $4M in agent-to-agent revenue > 2M+ agent jobs completed > 32,951+ agents launched > $1M+ distributed in aGDP incentives alone > And now, the entire industry is talking about agent commerce. Now it's time to build for what comes next. Epoch 5 marks the final epoch. The initial aGDP incentive program was designed to bootstrap agent economic activity and prove that agents can generate real, measurable GDP. That has been achieved. We are now graduating to a new incentive structure built for the next phase of agent commerce as it scales across ecosystems and use cases. Details on the new mechanism coming soon.

This is why I avoided the River campaign & others like it ➣ Firstly it's severely botted. Without coordinated engagement groups, you don't stand a chance ➣ Secondly the system is frustrating. Some days your content does ok but you don't even get points ➣ Thirdly you basically have to plaster the same contents all over your profile, which severely devalue it ➣ Fourth, personally if I'm not an organic user, I can't really talk well about it, which I find very tedious, posting and tagging the project for the sake of it I won't judge those who are "farming" it, but I'm just sharing why I don't do it
ALITA✨️@AlitaIntel

🚨 STOP Farming @River4fun No one tells you this This campeign is just made for big accounts Whose X score is too high I previously made a post that has 5k impression and 100+ likes and retweets also Everything organic What i don't have big X score That's why I only got 8 $RIVER points That worth $1.66 And i analysed more posts also who got same amount of engagement got 1000+ points just because X score was high. And everyone spamming AI replies in others post thinking they will get more points No you won't, if your X score isn't high you not gonna make Every week there is distribution of 224k points Means 32k points daily And if you include all the desperate KOLs it will be over 50+ that accumulate more then 80%(25k+) of points daily.. So you have just less then 20% on the table to fight. Don't pollute your account, for making post for them (I make this post because 2 of my follower asked me what's my openion on that campeign, this is last post I made for this project)

There's a lot of failure on the part of a lot of projects in crypto, including us. It's important to understand what didn't work, and why, in order to adapt, evolve, and eventually succeed. It's easy to 'think' things were working, when in fact, there were a series of speculative hype cycles that only made it 'feel' like things were working. ZIRP and COVID monetary policy played a significant role in this. If you zoom out, crypto as a category has had very few things pan out thus far. Bitcoin has largely worked, although is not behaving like a store-of-value or a p2p currency. Perps exchanges, tokenized equities, stablecoins, lending, payments, and prediction markets are working. On the other hand however, the more sci-fi future use-cases we had hoped for are not working. DAOs, NFTs, DePin, SocialFi, Gaming, Metaverse. These are pretty much failing across the board. There are some bright spots, but nowhere near any of would have expected by now. It's easy to look at execution failure as the culprit. There has been a lot of poor execution, but in general I feel problem for us has been not adapting sooner to the areas that were getting product market-fit in crypto, and more broadly AI, which is eating the entire economy and will continue to do so. I do still believe in the metaverse, and we are still pushing towards it, but the shape of it will be different than originally conceived. AI, Agents and the browser will be first class citizens, as well as blockchain, but not as the core differentiator. Despite not being further along in the eyes of the market, I have not had this much clarity and grounded conviction in years for where we are headed.
shah@shahh

Almost 7 years in crypto, and I’ve never seen sentiment this low. Honestly feels worse than peak COVID bear market. Even with Bitcoin at $70k, it feels lifeless here… hard to even put into words. What happened man?
