Birthday Reflection This years birthday, feels like a celebration of survival. People may look at my pictures and think, "That guy is doing well," but what they don't see is the pain, the tears, the tireless effort, and the uncertainty that accompanied the last 365 days of my life. When life became sour and unbearable, I ran to God. He alone knows my struggles and understands my heart. In His wisdom, He sent incredible people into my life who serve as sources of inspiration and strength every day. One lesson my parents taught us is to "pray and not look like our challenges." I strive to embody that philosophy each day. I wish I could explain the last 365 days of my life, but they have been filled with both joy and sadness. Yet through it all, one thing has remained constant: God's grace and love. I know I'm far from perfect, but I do my best each day to become the best version of myself! someone others can be proud of. It's been a long year. longer than I can express. My family and friends have been my lifeline, and by God's grace, I hope to one day share my story not as a tale of hardship, but one of triumph, encouraging others to trust God and persevere, no matter how challenging life may seem. I would love to tag those who have supported me, but I'll hold off for now. Know that I appreciate you from the depths of my heart. May God guide, bless, and answer you when you call upon His name. @jonathanx404 Thank you so much. That’s actually my take and if I’m getting married tomorrow, that’s how I’d expect it to be. But I’m praying that God will bless me so I don’t have to wait for anyone’s help before I and my spouse to be get the kind of wedding we want.

@His_Chy I love your take on this subject Yes it happens along the way, things may exceed your budget. Unless you didn’t plan well the excess expenses shouldn’t be very much. So I am assuming gifts should cover that. But going into debt for a wedding is not a good start

Honestly speaking, If one had planned everything and along the way, money finish’s and they couldn’t get anyone to support at that moment then they’re left with taking a lone , I’d say they should go ahead but they should do it wisely. But if one does not have any money kept somewhere but wants to borrow and carry out a wedding, hmmmmm they need to stop because it’s not the way to start a home. What if the money they’d get that day isn’t enough to pay the debts 🤷🏼‍♂️ then they’d start a new home with tension and restlessness haba na If truly they don’t have money, just pay the dowry and go home

@His_Chy @sledge_baba I went to buy something one day and I told the woman I wanted knorr, she asked if I wanted chicken or beef, I said beef and she looked at me and said “You’ll be a good cook”, I asked why, she said most people that can cook prefer the beef. I dislike the taste of the chicken.

Oh wait! Some people just cook with any seasoning cubes they see? For over 20yrs of cooking, if it's not Knorr cubes, omo it's a loud NO o.

Actually, I don’t think there’s really any food that’s poor but rather it’s how the food was cooked and the condiments in it that makes it poor. Someone will consider rice poor, when it does not have meat, tomatoes and other things to bring out its taste and flavor but once you add the things, it becomes rich. Even drinking of garri 👌

What is that “poor people food” you will eat no matter how rich you get?

@His_Chy Technology is gradually taking away the days of collectivism. People are more interested in competing with each other than living. We are so blinded by the quest for success that we fail to see what’s happening around us.

Most times we’re so focused on what we think, that we don’t even see that the people right beside us are drowning in their own misery. We miss the quiet changes, the silence,the way someone’s laugh no longer reaches their eyes. A little more attention could have told us everything. Pay attention now, so later you won’t have to ask yourself: “Where was I?” or “How did I it?” Be the person who notices before it’s too late. A simple “Are you okay?” asked with real eyes can sometimes be the rope that pulls someone back to life #MyThoughts #HealthyLife
