Enzo Fernandez’s agent has called Liam Rosenior’s decision to drop the Chelsea midfielder “completely unfair” and says his comments during the international break were not intended to disrespect the club. Fernandez’s agent, Javier Pastore, told The Athletic talks had been held with Chelsea over renewing his client’s contract, which runs until 2032, but an agreement was yet to be reached. @HistoryMatters7 They accounts were for 24/25. Whatever projections for “next years accounts” or whatever will be for 25/26. That will include UCL from this season and the majority of the CWC. Fuck BlueCo, but you’re off by a year in your rev estimates

Claim: CFC forecast £700m of revenue in FY27 Check: FY26 was £490m - This included c£19m of income from winning the Conference League - This also included £15m from the Club World Cup We can expect c£80m from the Champions League, but less the ECL income thats only +£61m 1/4

I have seen some optimistic forecasts in my time, but what in the fuck makes them remotely confident of £700m in revenue?

Chelsea revenue rose to £490.9m, which is their second highest on record. Also, Chelsea made a positive transfer balance of £57.9m, under pressure from Uefa regulations. Loss before tax is £262.4m, which is a Premier League record. Chelsea revenue projected to increase to approx £700m next season. No concerns internally at falling foul of regulatory rules in any competition.
