There is a reason people do not debate Flat Earthers or Moon landing deniers. It is not because the evidence is weak. It is because the conversation is rigged from the start. You can bring measurements, physics, engineering, independent tracking, international verification, and experiments they can do in their own backyard, and none of it matters. The moment the facts show up, they shout fake, edited, CGI, conspiracy, or “that’s just your belief.”
You cannot debate someone who treats every piece of evidence as invalid by default. You cannot debate someone who demands proof and then rejects the proof the second it appears. You cannot debate someone who thinks their personal disbelief outranks measurable reality.
A debate requires both sides to accept evidence. Flat Earth and Moon landing denial collapse the moment evidence enters the room, so the only move left is to deny the room exists.
That is why people do not debate them. Not because the globe is fragile, but because the argument they bring is. You cannot have a real discussion with someone who decided ahead of time that nothing you show them will ever count.

Diceritain seorang C-Level soal uniknya orang Indonesia.
Beliau suka becanda. Misal ketika team izin ke toilet dia becandain dengan jawab “no you cannot”.
Kolega India 🇮🇳 jawab “hahaha funny”, lanjut ke toilet.
Kolega Spanyol 🇪🇸 jawab “no thanks”, lanjut ke toilet.
Kolega Indo 🇮🇩 engga jawab apa-apa. Diem dan beneran gajadi ke toilet. Lalu canggung satu ruangan sampe bilang “Im joking, ofcourse you can”
Yang bikin dia culture shock adalah betapa tingginya tingkat obedience orang Indonesia. Seakan consent di sini tuh manufactured through power relations.
Padahal orang Indonesia itu cemerlang dan kinerjanya luar biasa, tapi begitu atasan bilang X meskipun itu gak sesuai prinsip atau pemahaman, mereka akan tetap taat.
Kenapa ya dan gimana cara kita unlearn karakter ini?

Tahun lalu, power lifter asal Buleleng, I Gede Wahyu Surya Wiguna Yasa adalah peraih emas Asian/Pacific/African Classic Powerlifting Championships 2025.
Dia sudah siap berangkat dgn duit sendiri dan sponsor pribadi ke World Classic Open Powerlifting Championships 2026 di Lithuania Juni nanti.
Tp dia nggak dapat rekomendasi krn menurut Wahyu, federasi Bali meminta duit deposit jaminan tes doping kpd Wahyu Rp 339 juta. Padahal WADA Code tdk mengenal security deposit.

The Flat Earthers actually have a stupid conspiracy invented to dismiss this fact as well.
Suddenly the Antarctic Treaty becomes their magic “you’re banned from going there” force field. It is the only way they can dodge the fact that an edge would be impossible to hide. They need the treaty to be a global no‑go zone because the alternative is admitting the edge doesn’t exist.
Except the treaty does not ban travel. It does not ban exploration. It does not ban private expeditions. Thousands of people go to Antarctica every year. Scientists, tourists, photographers, cruise ships, research teams. Nobody is stopped by some imaginary ice‑wall police.
The treaty only stops countries from planting military bases and claiming territory. That is it. Flat Earthers twist it into a worldwide “you’re not allowed to go there” rule because they have no other way to explain why the edge of their fantasy world has never been found.
They cannot accept the simple truth. There is no edge. There is no wall. There is no barrier. There is just a globe, and the treaty conspiracy is the last flimsy excuse they have left to avoid admitting it.
