@Mukiteee @_toxicprince96 He doesn't. He just want to sound woke on the Internet, but he just be regurgitating same low iq talking points we see here often.
English

@_toxicprince96 We have this conversation every 2 weeks but curiously, what do you have to replace GDP as a metric?
English

That one terrible Oxfam report ilifikia Wakenya wote wenye hawatawahi bother to read the study but disturbing thing hapa ni confidence with which hii jango linked it to GDP 😂.
Rich Starr🔸@_toxicprince96
Usiwahi danganyika na concept ya GDP to justify economic growth. GDP means nothing if the top 125 richest people in Kenya own approximately 78% of the countries wealth. The economy is booming for 125 Kenyans, not for the 55 million of us.

@CryptoWhale Wow, another fake image of a stadium! Once again, no traces of ants, beetles, or even bees.

As soon as countries like Luxembourg stop enriching themselves off the extraction and exploitation of African resources and labour.
Larry Madowo@LarryMadowo
All buses, trains, and trams are free in this country. For everyone! Luxembourg is unreal. When will your country have this?

@CKyobutungi @KamyaSamuel @Almighty_E37 "...the idea (democracy) is good, if you don't have a majority idiots..."
You seem to have overlooked that part. The simple answer where none of the countries in Africa seems to be a working democracy is coz they are populated by "majority idiots."
English

@KamyaSamuel @Almighty_E37 The right question is: in which African country now does your voice actually matter?
Nigeria? Kenya? Uganda? Ethiopia? Malawi? Burkina Faso? Cameroon? Which one?

@CKyobutungi The expensive assumption here is that Burkina isn't killing and maiming.
Democracy by its nature is predicated upon consensus by the majority. The idea is good if you don't have a majority idiots.
It's, therefore, better than the tyranny/dictatorship you're advocating for.

This fact, alone, should be more than enough proof for any imbecile who doubts the moon landing. If there was any entity with both the motivation and the resources to show that the landing was fake, it was the Soviets. Yet they acknowledged it as real.
Chad Nixon Kettle@JacobA99
@disglobo @OVTweetmarck The Soviets tracked it the whole way and acknowledged the landing.

@PanSpear He has every right to say that. And I hope Burkinabes are okay with it. The only thing I am not getting is why Africans are all over frothing in the mouth claiming that the West is not happy. I'm yet to see the evidence of that. Or have Western govts started condemning him?
English

@MimosaWada25 @SizweLo I'm only seeing Africans rolling over each other on discussing the topic. I don't know why we keep dragging the West into our issues though. We can discuss the merits and demerits of Traore's actions without dragging the West into the debate unless it's their validation we crave.
English

@kalinda_mchl @jamesonen @AyikoGodi44835 If such was possible, who has stopped Africans from redrawing the colonial boundaries into forming nations that they themselves aspire? I recently saw that Eastern Congo under Joseph Kabila is seeking secession from DRC. Let's see how many African States will support him.
English

@jamesonen @AyikoGodi44835 Who said we can't, we were disrupted by the colonialists man! We can unite along ethnicity lines e.g bantu, nilotics, and Cushites etc

I initially shared this sentiment. Until I realised that Africa has 3,000 tribes that occupy their own areas. If each had decided to form a nation state there would be 3,000 countries in Africa. Just how viable would those countries be today from an economic standpoint?
And without colonialists using coercion to force us to join up into single countries, how likely is it that these tribes would have willingly been part of any political union?
Not sure there is an easy answer to this question.
Wode Maya ®@wode_maya
Did you know that many of the borders we have in Africa today were drawn in Europe, without a single African present? Why should we protect something we didn’t create?
Kampala, Uganda 🇺🇬 English

@kolonelikris @aleksthgrt I highly doubt we'll ever get to that. I don't see any leader suicidal enough to go that route. Only the Ayatollah's regime seemed capable of such.
English

@IbexCap @aleksthgrt but you do understand that war on ukraine would draw Europe in,s. Korea would draw U.S in so yeah,at some point it would be a global nuclear war
English

@IbexCap @sun_jun69301 @aleksthgrt if The U.S would use a Nuke on Iran,,theres a high chance that China will nuke Taiwan, Russia will nuke Ukraine, N. Korea would nuke S. Korea n Japan would have their nukes ready for retaliation... that's what i meant
English

@kolonelikris @aleksthgrt Oh okay. You mentioned nuclear war...only a small group of countries have nukes. And out of those only Russia, China and North Korea are not US allies.
English

@IbexCap @aleksthgrt nope...am assuming that the world would get into a world war,not necessarily from Russia
