The committee watched Bama blow a 17-0 lead to a terrible Auburn team, winning by 7 with 280 total yards and moved them ahead of ND. Then watched them embarrass themselves with -3 yards rushing and a 21 point loss to Georgia and did not drop them. Tonight’s rout is the result.

The committee has to stop gifting the SEC almost half the playoff field. Bowl season and the playoffs have really revealed how the conference just isn’t that much better than anyone else. Period. End of story.

So if we get this straight - ND and usc had a 2 year extension deal set for 2026 and 2027. Games in November and October. Then the MOU information resurfaced, usc said it was a disadvantage, and blew up negotiations by offering a week 0 or nothing deal. But the MOU was already know to them and usc lied about it, which was their cover to blow up the deal. Then usc leaked this to media which one can assume was in an effort to create more pressure for schools to be outraged by the MOU and box Notre Dame out. Yeah… I don’t think this relationship is going to continue as long as Jen Cohen is at usc. What a gross thing to do to a partner.

Not all games are eligible for week 0. They can only happen in accordance with specific week 0 rules. Those rules are: - Playing in a foreign country - Playing at Hawaii - Special “kick off classics” at Neutral sites that require special NCAA approval. ND played that game in Dublin, Ireland which made it allowable. Week 0 at a neutral site or in another country is an awful time to try and play your rivalry game. It was an unserious offer from USC that was never intended to be accepted but it provided an opportunity for them to give the perception that “ND also said no”. Most college football fans aren’t educated enough on the rules to catch on to this so I figured I’d help out.

How does TAMU, an SEC heavyweight, dominate the SEC but score only 3 pts vs an ACC team at home? Esp. since they didn't win their conf… SEC fans scream the SEC is dominant/superior until on-field play. That's why they have all those “ranked” teams, right? 🙄
