So I'ma be real, I liked the new Super Mario Galaxy Movie. I do agree with some of the criticisms, but it was *FUN*. And hearing the children cheering and clapping at certain moments reminded me that sometimes you JUST NEED FUN THINGS FOR KIDS TO BE HAPPY ABOUT. I would have loved more time. More dialogue. More actual plot, seeing more worlds, all that kinda thing. They crammed a LOT and a lot of characters into a very short movie. But it was fun! And that's the difference between people who go to see it vs critics who are trying to analyze it - it did exactly what a Mario Movie needed to do, even if that wasn't what movies usually do. We all came out of it smiling, talking about our favorite characters, and things we'd like to see more of - hopes for future movies and series. I'd consider that a win for the mustachioed one. :)

Pokémon caught in Pokémon Winds & Waves in Brazilian Portuguese won’t be able to be transferred back to previous games that didn’t have this language. Similarly Pokémon in Latin American Spanish won’t be able to be transferred back to previous games without this language.

@KirPinkFury Exactly. It’s not impossible to negotiate something. But what’s more likely is a smaller roster closer to the core tentpoles in the “smash” movie. Link maybe could be an animated version, but even low chance of pikachu as that’s a split owned IP. But it’s still gonna be cool!

People have to stop believing Sonic will be in the Smash film. Heck, not even live action Link and Pikachu will. All those are from different studios. Universal will take control of every IP and make it animated in order to make the inevitable Smash film.

NO SPOILER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE REVIEW As a FAN, I had a ton of fun solely because visuals and sound design are incredible but it’s straight brain candy lol. The pacing is just off the wall for 90 straight minutes. I loved some of the worldbuilding but I actually preferred the pacing of the first movie more. Hoping things slow down as it becomes more established. Also need more Fox immediately.

@caroliner_draws You know what would have been a great story arc Paralleling how Rosalina see her Lumas, verus how the Mario Bros. see Yoshi and how Bowser Jr sees his father. A comparison of levels of trust and affection and effects on their relationship would be a great way to develop.

This could’ve been replaced with more Rosalina backstory stuff but nooooo
