After every Western Conference Finals game I'm going to give the losing team "Knicks Treatment". 1.) It only took 1 game for Oklahoma City to piss away Home Court Advantage. 2.) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander needs to pass the ball more and stop his ball hogging. Tonight he shot his team out of the game ala 7/23 from the field @ only .304% and chucked 2/7 from 3 @ only .286% with a +/- of -15. Even worse 8 of his 24 points came from the Free Throw line because the Referees rewarded his flopping like a fish with 9 FTA's which means he only scored 16 Points (not from the FT Line) throughout 4 Quarters + 2 Overtimes. He also committed 4 costly Turnovers during a close game. He single handedly blew the game and he's the sole reason on why OKC lost the game. 3.) Chet Holmgren's 7'1 and big for nothing. Only 8 Rebounds despite 40 minutes and allowed Victor Wembanyama to Record 24 Rebounds from the Center spot. 4.) Isaiah Hartenstein finished with only 2 Points/2 Rebounds/2 Assists (iHart is no Karl-Anthony Towns and he doesn't impact like Mitchell Robinson). 5.) Luguentz Dort only scored 5 points because he only shot 6x but that's only because despite being intentionally left wide open he was hesitant and 'scared to shoot'. 6.) Oklahoma City as a team (from Players to Coaching Staff) played atrocious Defense and couldn't eliminate San Antonio's only Star player and allowed Victor Wembanyama to embarrass them (on National Television) with 41 Points + 24 Rebounds + 3 Assists off 14/25 from the field (.560%) along with 3 Blocks/1 Steal and a +/- of +16. 7.) OKC couldn't take advantage of San Antonio being without and missing their Starting PG in De'Aaron Fox. 8.) Mark Daigneault played Chinese checkers and not chess and wasn't thinking two moves ahead of time because he ran his only Star player in SGA into the ground with over 50 minutes of playing time (51 minutes) and ran him into the ground during only Game-1 of a Playoff Series. He failed in that regard because with the ways Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was struggling to shoot? Tonight was the perfect opportunity to load-manage the minutes of his Superstar player. They've played nothing but cupcakes throughout the entire first 2 Rounds of the NBA Playoffs (Suns/Lakers) but then crumbled like a cookie during their first opportunity to play a good basketball team and then went on to piss away Home Court Advantage during only, Game-1. F- grade. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander isn't a Superstar (without the zebras allowing him to flop like a fish for FT attempts) and he's gotta learn to stop chucking and pass the fucking ball.
