@pedrotharagui @HazzadorGamin Montreal SOTR started Mid-late 2022 so 3.5 years by cancellation time. Besides It's much more ambitious than BFR aiming for RE2R level with new parkour, combat mechanics, larger scale of envrionment with new levels. It's a 2002 game remake so a lot goes on to fill in the gaps.

Also official cancellation dev statement explicitly mentioned what I said as well as IP creator, VA confirmed dev was going well with recent marketing recording and confident 2026 release.

The Microsoft show will broadcast on April 16th & is the venue of choice for the Metro 2039 reveal. I don't know the branding of the show. Before anyone asks: No, I have not been able to confirm the previously rumored State of Play date information yet.
