@MachoorTV If you like Persona it's the best one of those has ever been. They have a ton of quality of life improvements and the job system makes the combat way more fun. Also you know who the villain is immediately and they basically turn it into The Amazing Race: Election Season.

Arcane is perfect. It's like damn you really just out here with some of the best storytelling in recent memory on top of the best looking animation I have ever seen. Season 2 so far has skyrocketed it to one of my favorite pieces of media of all time. Can't wait for the rest,

@MinnMaxShow @chuckduck365 My first MH I got into was World and played about 1000 hours of it. Charles, Start with the hammer. Great starting weapon and it's fun. Just keep it simple and don't worry about all the other layers until you feel like taking them on.

@MinnMaxShow @chuckduck365 Kelsey is right that the game is more fun with others until you get to the really hard fights. Then all those Long Sword users just keep dying and failing the mission for you. The other weapon you could try is Bow. Less damage numbers but sustained

@jchensor Haha I have no familiarity with the Marvel games. I played Super Heroes on PS1 with my brother when we were kids but never got good. Would love to learn but I'm still Diamond 3 in SF6. Just trying to rank up there is stressful enough haha.

This combo has two Infinites in there, though the Gene Splice sequence CAN be an infinite. But I didn't want to add that to an already tricky combo (the start is particularly hard with the 66LP+LK input being so finnicky). The second infinite only works on light characters.

@broskiFGC It has to be tough to be trying to balance a game around what less than 1 percent of your player base is capable of. The normies still need to have fun too. Sometimes that part gets lost along the way. Look at what happened to Overwatch.

and before the inevitable "players dont know whats best either" comes in: you're absolutely right! that's the point of consulting! you take voices from both sides of the line to help inform decisions, im obviously not saying "let players have total creative control over balance"

ive been saying this for years now but in the wake of several truly awful balance patches for multiple fighting games it is crazy to me that more devs dont hire players as consultants, something which is commonplace in basically every other esport

@maximilian_ The PC version runs great. Console performance......not so much. Tried it on Xbox Series X and the framerate in town is yikes. I guess this is what the PS5 pro is for?

@GKeepnclassy @Theafrocain @StreetFighter It can't work that way though. They add in 1500 new points into the system every time someone gets master so it's another 1500 points for anyone to earn. I don't understand people who don't want more matches. If you're at 1500 you should be destroying them so who cares?

@Theafrocain @StreetFighter Master Rank not holding weight is a stupid concept. If you go below 1500 then, then you shouldnt be master anymore. Master literally means...YOURE A MASTER. They should redo the entire system, because its really bad. The start 10 games, MR reseting, 1200 MR players. Its so bad

Update Regarding Changes Starting with Phase 7 Ranked Match Phase 6 starts today, but we're giving players advance notice regarding changes that will be made to the Master Rate reset design going into effect starting with Phase 7. Your MR at the beginning of the next Phase will be scaled based on your final MR from the previous Phase. Ex. MR2200 → MR1710 MR1850 → MR1605 MR1200 → MR1410 If you didn’t play in the previous Phase, you will start the new Phase at MR1500. We expect this change to improve matchmaking between players and pair them with others that are closer to their ability at the start of each new Phase. We will provide more details just before Phase 7 begins.
