@j00ny369T Ohhh what a clever little dote❤️🐶! I adore this breed, they are superb dogs. I had a border collie for 17 years, you can't beat them for agility, work ethic and smarts. This little one is stunning.

@goodreads resilience & strength. He finds solace & hope in his friendships, travels & beloved literature. Spoiler .. he outlives the 1yr prognosis by >10yrs .. Make of it what you will .. I found it a fascinating, deeply moving, worthwhile read.

@goodreads Quite unlike any 📘 I've ever read, it is part diary, charting a roller coaster gamble with high stakes highlighting conversations & correspondence between various physicians & his & pals' research. I found myself willing him on & in awe of the path he chooses, his determination

Today is the anniversary of my mother passing on to a new life. It’s always a poignant day. But I wanted to share with you a visit yesterday in the form of a small white feather that appeared at the top of the drivers seat. The car has just had a major and hoover two days before that. Overnight I felt I had a deadline to capture this. A Visit ______ Today, a small visit. Under the driver’s seat of the car a feather — white, slightly bent, somehow there as if it had been waiting. I thought of you, Mum. You had a way of appearing when life thinned a little and I needed you. Quietly. So I asked the air what I might once have asked you across the kitchen table. How are you now? What is it like where you are? Is it light? A widening of colour? Is it beautiful? And who have you met? Do you miss me? I still miss you. Outside the world is beginning again. Winter loosens. Some journeys come full circle. As a child, I experienced homelessness. During that time, the Salvation Army supported me when many people didn’t understand what I was going through. Those experiences shaped my path and played a big role in my decision to pursue social work. 1/6

@NiecyOKeeffe As I recall their behaviour wasn't great either (putting it mildly) when it came to handling the 2 year sexual harassment Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin was subjected to by a fellow academic at that institution.

UCD have behaved appallingly here. Shockingly so.
