Unfortunately, while performing scheduled maintenance on the core power busses at our primary Chicago datacenter, an unplanned facility-wide outage occurred 08/23/2020 at approximately 04:00UTC. Power has been restored but bare metal and VPS leases will need to be restarted.

This would put us out of business. We will not compromise on the security and safety of our systems and be forced put our customer's valuable data at risk of theft or other compromise.

@Telekom_hilft We are still showing the same fault: f-lga1.f.de.net.dtag.de/index.php?page… … "Network not in table". HE looking glass and other IPv6 providers show connectivity and routing. What is the status?

@Telekom_hilft Your RIPE NOC contact is invalid, and your IPv6 route tables inexplicably lack an entry for our ARIN+IRR-registered 2602:fe3d::/36 block (announced from AS46246). Our IPv4 blocks from the same ASN are present in your routing tables. Please fix ASAP!

We've completed a one-time static IP move to a new scope for the oldest VPS accounts in our system. This will allow us to provide higher uptime for these VPS leases, but will require that you reconfigure your static IP(s) to the new prefix and gateway shown in your account.

@kylerankin We'd be happy to donate some of our spare cloud capacity to at least mirroring the Linux Journal archives -- it's the least we can do considering our entire infrastructure is built on Linux and libre software.

@kylerankin For what it's worth, we agree with your overall assessment of libre software especially on the desktop. Our group of companies dogfoods our own products and software -- all of our/@RaptorEng/ @RaptorCompSys's desktops (development and otherwise) are Linux based; it can be done!

@mroach @RaptorCompSys We may need to revamp some of the advertising on the main page -- the service was originally built around VPS, then we added dedicated systems and may have hit those a bit too hard. Take a look at secure.integricloud.com/content/kb/1.h… , but where it mentions amd64 substitute ppc64[el].

@RaptorCompSys @IntegriCloud I didn't see mention of it on the IntegriCloud website aside from saying the setup was different to dedicated hosts. Is it on a different site entirely?

@KarelGardas Yes, very clear. We would implement the latter according to our standard policy of not allowing weak / broken cryptography on "secure" links, meaning the services would become inaccessible from within Australia.

@IntegriCloud I've not been clear probably. I mean that if Australia gov weakens SSH crypto on Australias-based customer than your SSH server would either allow to connect hence allow eavesdropping or not allow to connect and you loose customer for his/her own security. Is that clear now?

Try a secure #POWER9 VPS or dedicated box, safely out of reach of bad Australian #aabill legislation. Open source down to the hardware ring level, no place for backdoors to hide. Also check out #FlexVer for provably secure computing on our platforms!

@KarelGardas We have no staff, equipment, or other actual presence in Australia where we might fall under any kind of Australian jurisdiction. The same goes for China, North Korea, and other repressive regimes. If we received a TCN, it would be ignored, or at worst service to Oz would stop.

@IntegriCloud Indeed @IntegriCloud maybe the way, but only as long as #aabill will not enforce you to weaken SSH connection properties when connecting from Australia to it. I think whole situation with #aabill is quite unclear so far so I'd rather wait for more clarification/analysis.

We're currently performing some maintenance and upgrades on our frontend services. Backend systems / dedicated machines are unaffected by this.
