Former Miss Hong Kong contestant said in UK, she sent 30 job applications but NOBODY replied. Failed, returned to HK. It's been 5 years and I still can't find even one BNO success story. 99% are jobless, work warehouse, drive Uber or deliver food. Only success is in activism.

Many factors at play here. But it still baffles me that the crimes against humanity in Xinjiang, the suppression of Hong Kong’s democracy movement, and cover-up of Covid-19 are so quickly forgotten.

Dramatic shift in global public views of US and China, with the US losing attraction while China gains popularity. One notable exception to trend is America’s allies in Asia, who remain wary of China and largely supportive of US. washingtonpost.com/world/2026/07/…

@MinhDr18 I hope you and your idiotic friends in Philippines understand that the 5 vessels won't make an inch of difference to the military balance. Philippines couldn't even handle a few thousand undernourished MIFL and Abu Sayyaf guerrillas for decades, their military is corrupt.

@omarnoel18 @jaytaryela Absolute garbage. You conducted a kangaroo court where only your side participated. You and your dad US chose the arbitrators. You paid each of the 5 arbitrators $millions from your national treasury.

If China would simply adhere to international law — stop harassing ordinary Filipino fishermen, stop harassing PCG and BFAR vessels, stop destroying the marine environment through reclamation, and abandon its illegal claim over nearly the entire South China Sea — Philippines-China relations would be in a far better place.

@lukedepulford You are a lying POS. That was not international law, that was a kangaroo court. Arbitration requires consent and participation of both affected parties and the selection of the arbitrator has to be agreed by both parties. Didn't happen, it was a one sided proceeding. Fuck off

This is how Beijing sees international law: “A piece of waste paper”. You can’t say you weren’t warned.
Global Times@globaltimesnews

#Editorial: A piece of waste paper, the so-called “South China Sea Arbitral Tribunal Award,” is ultimately just that – a piece of waste paper. It cannot change the objective fact that China has consistently upheld sovereignty over the South China Sea islands, nor can it alter China’s firm resolve to uphold its sovereignty. globaltimes.cn/page/202607/13…

This is strong evidence that 🇨🇳 has ambitions well beyond #Taiwan.
UnveiledChina@Unveiled_ChinaX

Beijing's cognitive warfare machine is in overdrive. This time targeting Japanese territory through a polished "academic" summit at Peking University. The 5th Ryukyu-Okinawa Academic International Symposium (June 27-28) brought nearly 100 scholars from mainland China and Okinawa (pointedly framed as the "Ryukyu Islands"). The event was organized by Peking University’s History Department along with other state-linked institutes and the Aisixiang platform. Far from a neutral academic forum, it served as a coordinated platform for advancing CCP narratives. It pushed CCP revisionist narratives: emphasizing ancient tributary ties to China, portraying Okinawa as a victim of Japanese "colonialism" and "militarism," and criticizing defensive deployments on Yonaguni and Ishigaki islands (nearest to Taiwan). Speakers like CASS's Yang Bojiang and PKU's Xu Yong framed the region as a frontline of rivalry, not Japan's internal affair. This is textbook United Front influence ops: co-opting local voices, amplifying grievances against Tokyo and US bases, and sowing divisions to weaken the US-Japan alliance. Okinawa is the critical chokepoint for deterring a Taiwan invasion which is exactly why Beijing is weaponizing history here. The hypocrisy is glaring. The CCP lectures Japan on militarism while conducting the largest peacetime military buildup in history, militarizing the South China Sea, and threatening its neighbors. Another win for narrative control. How long until democratic alliances push back against this soft-power subversion of key defense hubs? #UnveiledChina #CCP #Okinawa #Ryukyu #CognitiveWarfare #UnitedFront #Taiwan #JapanDefense

China says it found new "Coral Reefs" in Scarborough Shoal which it falsely call Huangyan Dao. I'm surprised, Corals still exsist in Scarborough Shoal. Few months ago Filipino Coast Guards caught a group of Chinese fishermen putting cyanide on a Reef in Scarborough Shoal.
CGTN@CGTNOfficial

A newly-released survey has identified China's first known coral reef blue hole at Huangyan Dao in the South China Sea. The rare underwater formation is estimated to be at least 3,200 years old and features a distinctive funnel-shaped structure.

China’s refusal to lift visa restrictions on American diplomats travelling to Macau is disappointing, though not a surprise. This is once again an attempt to limit the U.S. State Department’s abilities to assist American citizens abroad and a reminder that the CCP doesn't play fair.

The Greek prime minister said Chinese production capacity could destroy Europe. But the irony is obvious: This only becomes a “global threat” when China does it. The United States once accounted for around 50% of global manufacturing during World War II. After World War I, its share was already around 38%. Both were far higher than China’s share today. Back then, nobody called it “overcapacity.” Nobody said America was destroying the world. Nobody demanded Washington shrink itself for the comfort of weaker competitors. It was called leadership. It was called productivity. It was called the reward of industrial power. But when China reaches 30% through factories, infrastructure, supply chains, engineers, workers, ports, grids, and industrial discipline, suddenly Europe discovers the word “danger.” Please. China did not destroy European industry. Europe hollowed itself out. Europe outsourced production. Europe worshipped finance, regulation, luxury branding, and green slogans while letting its industrial base decay. Then China kept building. Now the countries that gave up manufacturing are angry at the country that did not. In the end, this is what happens when Western undercapacity meets Chinese competence. They call it “Chinese overcapacity.”
