It's called suspected murder. That's what the law says. "A suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction" thats the reason. The evidence is clear, so justice is guaranteed.

His body is at the mortuary and the family have been told that whenever they want to see it, they will be allowed to. However its a case of suspected murder, so autopsy is compulsory and the family also agreed to this. Thank you

The late ASP Ejeh, a dedicated driver with the Nigeria Police Airwing, tragically lost his life in the line of duty during an operational mission on 17th April 2026. During the visit, the IGP expressed his deepest sympathies to the widow, Mrs. Mercy Ejeh, her children, and the extended family. He described the late officer as a committed professional whose sacrifice in service to the nation remains invaluable. The IGP further reassured the family of the Force’s support, emphasizing that the welfare and legacies of officers who pay the ultimate price will always be a priority under his administration. The IGP reaffirmed his commitment to the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, noting that the courage and dedication of officers on the frontline are the bedrock of national security. It's time to accept the reality that many Nigerian women will never find a man to marry them not because they're bad but because of the three following reasons: One, over the years, men have been disenamoured with the concept of marriage. They have discovered that there's nothing you can get in a marriage that you cannot get outside of marriage. So, many men would rather have baby mamas than commit the rest of their lives to one woman. Two, most of the men willing to get married do not have the financial capacity to do so, due to the sorry state of the Nigerian economy. And instead of the women they're dating to join finances together, plan with them and build a family from a small place, they expect only the men to carry all the responsibilities of marriage. This discourages men who don't have much from getting married. Three, the overwhelming proportion of unmarried women is 30+, and no man who has enough resources to get married wants to marry a 30+ woman. He would rather go for women between 18 and 24. So, this means that many older women will never find a man to marry them. You may dispute the foregoing but the reality stares us in the face.

We are back from Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, after honouring police invitation based on a petition by the author and publisher of the controversial textbook, Mr. Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB. On Tuesday, 28th April, 2026, I wrote to the AIG in charge of Zone 2 informing him that I’ll be coming with my client today by 1:00 PM. We arrived Zone 2 Command before the stated time and met with officers assigned to investigate the petition written by the author wherein he is alleging “conspiracy”, “criminal defamation”, “offensive publication” and “cyberstalking”. These allegations are utterly baseless and irritating to us. After giving her statement to the police, we met with the AIG in charge of the Zone, AIG Moshood Jimoh. My client, in her written statement and during our meeting with the AIG, reiterated her objection to the obnoxious passage on page 75 of the book which encourages violence and animal cruelty, she also plainly repudiated the concocted allegations against her. At the meeting, we submitted a copy of the book and the preliminary statement made by the Lagos State Government declaring that the said book was not approved by the government for use in schools. After spending more than three hours at Zone 2 Police Command, I departed the Zone with colleagues in chambers and my client, Mrs. Maryqueen Udoka. My client has reunited with her family. However, the complainant failed to show up. We have been asked to return to the Command on Friday, 7th May, 2026 when the author/complainant is expected to be present. Thank you.
