@funkofinderz 100% this. I get that this wasn’t something you will lose money on if you flip the pops, but that isn’t the point. The LE system is just not working when you have a large group of scalpers who can circumvent the system at HQ and bots that can eat up free entries in open drawings

It’s not just the one thing, it’s many things. It comes down to inconsistency and fairness. The original LE drops were tied to Fan Rewards with inflated pricing, and the site couldn’t handle demand. Then Funko removed the Fan Rewards requirement, making entries easier to exploit, while flagship stores still had direct access. Now those same “unclaimed” LE pieces are being sold in mystery boxes, which undermines the original exclusivity. On top of that, marketing only shows top hits through influencers, while flagship stores continue getting the best items like Cyclops and Art the Clown. Overall, it just feels uneven from start to finish.

@JJWatt In a fully self service scenario I wouldn’t tip. But in any situation I am serviced I tip. It’s never a lot, so it doesn’t bother me. The extra $2-$3 I tip getting breakfast and coffee won’t break the bank and it means a lot more to the servers because it adds up.

Genuine question on a restaurant situation: You walk up to a counter to order. You find your own table and seat yourself. If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself. If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself. The iPad has a “20%, 25%, 30%, Other” tip option, with 20% already preselected. What’s your move?

@funkofinderz I completely get it when celebs are accosted on the street and asked to sign things constantly that they’d hate Pops. I’m sure they understand there’s a market for these. Now at a signing is different, since they are paying for an autograph, but on the street I get it.
