I ALMOST BLEW UP MY BUSINESS CHASING A FEELING... About two years into working with Nic, I had one of those weeks. Ya know the ones... Everyone on my feed was launching something new. New offers. New funnels. New "pivots." And there I was… doing the same boring thing I'd been doing for months. I called Nic and said, "I feel like I need to do something. I don't feel like I have momentum." His response? "Cool. Show me the numbers." He called me up, and he looked at my stuff... Revenue was up. Retention was solid. Growth was steady. He said, "You have momentum. You're just not feeling it." HERE'S WHAT HE TAUGHT ME THAT DAY There's a difference between speed and velocity. Speed is just movement. It feels good. Wind in your hair. Things flying by. Velocity is movement in the right direction. You can drive 100 mph and still be completely lost. Most people don't actually lack momentum. They lack the feeling of momentum. So they pivot. They launch something new. They chase the next shiny thing. And two years later, they look back and think… "Damn. If I had just kept doing what I was doing, I'd be so much further along." I almost did that. More than once. THE HARDEST THING I'VE EVER DONE IN BUSINESS Nic told me recently that all I need to do for the next three years is sit on my hands and do nothing new. That terrifies me. Because as entrepreneurs, we want to DO things. We want to feel productive. We want to feel like we're making moves. But sometimes the most powerful move is no move at all. If you're feeling stuck right now, before you pivot… Pull up your numbers. If the data says you have momentum, you have momentum. Don't just chase a feeling.

More of the usual. Imagine, for a second, anyone talking down to you IN PERSON the way this woman talks to her audience? Especially if YOU knew THEY either A) had never read a book on fiat currency or B) were lying to you to support a narrative?

@AltcoinDailyio If humans didn't like gold it would be worth nothing. Read a book about fiat or ANY currency. The only thing that matters is all involved agree the thing traded has a certain value. Once you get past the usual abhorent Maddow abject condescension, this premise is just WRONG.
