I got Apple TV to watch F1. Any show recommendations on there? (Outside of Ted Lasso, I plan to watch that)

@CHMetallicorey That wasn’t an open tire rule back then. Hoosier was the track tire but had more options for compound. And people complained the tracks rubbered down.

@bobpockrass NASCAR seems to be preaching exclusivity on all fronts as a means to protect their brand, but why don’t they seem to have an issue if Larson or Bell run dirt, or Busch with Brexton. Seems the bigger issue is with SRX getting ratings and upsetting status quo for execs

On his spicy SRX texts, O’Donnell said he was frustrated that Cup drivers in a series that was looking more and more like NASCAR could impact broadcast rights negotiations. Said initially SRX wasn’t supposed to have the feel of a NASCAR event.

@BlakeAnderson It’s the opposite of the Ted Lasso quote “be curious not judgemental”. So many people assume it means one thing or another but will never read or ask questions to understand anything even more

PA sprint car fans get great news today and reading the comments it’s astounding the amount of complaining. Most nights PA tracks could hand out $100 bills and those fans would complain they didn’t get 5 $20 bills. 🤦‍♂️

@Kenny_Wallace This is more evidence of how disconnected nascar brass is from the actual racing world. They need to be working with all series and grassroots. Keeps them connected to the fans and when “their” drivers win its a selling point.

@DigitalGashouse Yellow laps under 10-25 laps do not count, race must finish under green. Not sure why fans have an issue with seeing more racing beyond the advertised distance. Especially 20 years ago they complained when races did finish under yellow (2004 Aaron’s 499 at Talladega)

Concept NASCAR overtime idea. If a race completes regulation under caution, we get a five minute red flag. Every team comes down pit road to make adjustments, take tires. On track position not impacted. OT is 1 attempt, 10 laps, and single file restarts. Thoughts?

@Larkin8 Shoot why stop there? Let’s go single file restarts and racing back to the line after a caution.

NASCAR 100% needs to eliminate the playoffs…. But can we also have a conversation about eliminating overtime. Races should end at the scheduled race distance Imagine the 1998 Daytona 500 where they re-rack it and Dale Earnhardt doesn’t win, Chad Little does…

@Motorsport Full 36 format. Keep stages & points but no breaks. Keep current point breakdown of 1 pt per spot. Add bonus point for most laps lead again 10 bonus points for race winner. Still emphasizes winning, while rewarding consistency and running well.

@GordyGundaker11 Agree it shouldn’t be happening, however some failures were setup related. We see it every year. I also think that the tires don’t work into the surface like they used to. That may be bc of the low profile sidewall. Total assumption though.

Everybody in my comments saying this is what NASCAR wanted and Goodyear did what they were supposed to.. Having a tire that fades and makes you conserve is good. I agree 1000%. Having tires blow out all day is not what anybody wants. Especially in a CHAMPIONSHIP race. I also agree that the car is an absolute POS.

@BrandonWimmer I think when the Rear arms twisted and bent during crashes instead of snapping caused a lot less jarring through the body. I do agree with the ratcheting belts, but feel the denser foam helps.

SPRINT CARS and BACK INJURIES… IMO we had way less back injuries with the old seat cover with a thick SOFT foam pad under it compared to newer hard foam custom seat inserts? Am I wrong? Let me hear what you think!

@KnoxvilleMoths @PortRoyalSpdway The front stretch and entering turn 1 used to be an experience. You and the concrete wall on one side, the concrete of the stage on the other, with the scoring tower. You couldn’t see the middle of 1. Now imagine that with no mufflers

So are we gonna fuck around until someone in the stands gets beheaded by a 100 mph wheel cover? Bring back foam plugs. There's always gonna be risk of shit happening but the fact that none of the tracks or series have addressed such an EASY fix is fucking pathetic.

As I was prepping for this weekend’s Tuscarora 50 @PortRoyalSpdway with @HighLimitRacing, the cables lost their tension and my knee buckled trying to hold it. Broke my knee cap In half.
