ENABLING AND EMPOWERING FRAUD INSIDE THE NIGERIA POLICE HEADQUARTERS: HOW ILLEGAL IGP EGBETOKUN ENABLED ONE OF NIGERIA’S MOST NOTORIOUS FRAUDSTERS, JESAM MICHAELS Three days ago, I wrote about how the illegal Inspector General of Nigeria @PoliceNG Force, Kayode Egbetokun, allegedly provided full institutional support and official cover for an international fraudster, Jesam Michael, whom I met at Kuje Prison last October. I sat with Jesam for over one hour as he casually reeled out shocking details of how the highest levels of the Nigeria Police Force allegedly enabled him to operate freely a PONZI SCHEME, a MULTIBILLION NAIRA criminal enterprise freely. According to him, the police hierarchy provided office support, armed police bodyguards, and operational protection. He even claimed that he directly bribed a Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dasuki Galandachi (now retired), with two hundred and fifty million naira N250M) to secure his continued freedom and immunity while running his fraud operations. But the revelations did not stop there. Jesam also stated that he retrofitted and equipped the so-called "Law Pavilion" for police lawyers at the Police Headquarters in Abuja and fully furnished the Special Investigative Unit (SIU). I later learnt that Jesam went ahead to build a house for one CSP Emmanuel and another for Asuquo, who was then Principal Staff Officer 2 to the illegal Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun (Asuquo was later retired for falsifying his age). My sources also alleged that Jesam was in bed with the current Principal Staff Officer 3, ACP Bukola Kuti, who has reportedly been secretly promoted to Principal Staff Officer 2. Jesam also told me that he rented a home in the Jabi area of Abuja for the police officer assigned to handle his case at the Special Investigative Unit. What continues to astonish and outrage Nigerians is that, till this very day, officers of the Nigeria Police Force operating from the so-called Legal Pavilion are still actively prosecuting five of Jesam’s victims on cybercrime charges. Yes, the victims. These victims are currently being defended at the Federal High Court in Abuja by human rights lawyer, Barrister Maxwell Opara, whom Jesam and his aides openly assaulted at the Federal High Court. Yet police prosecutors have not missed a single court date in their determination to persecute citizens on behalf of the very fraudster who allegedly ruined thousands of lives. Earlier today, I spoke to the police prosecutor, Ibrahim Mohammed Esq, and he claimed that these victims were inciting the public against Jesam. He even suggested that Jesam’s prosecution and subsequent transfer to Kuje Prison amounted to some form of protective custody meant to prevent his victims from killing him. After I exposed these disgraceful acts of connivance and complicity by the police hierarchy, the EFCC, which had kept Jesam behind bars, suddenly changed his prosecutor. Today, Jesam has now been granted bail. But even his bail came at a price. Jesam was reportedly required to publicly discountenance my verified allegations against the illegal Inspector General of Police and his cronies. Almost immediately, his carefully packaged whitewashing of the Inspector General’s culpability began appearing in several newspapers. Soon after, Jesam was granted bail on unusually lenient terms and is now on the verge of walking free, while his victims remain battered, traumatized, and still dragged through the courts. This is Nigeria, where criminals are rewarded and victims are punished. Jesam’s alleged beneficiaries inside the police structure include several senior police officers who reportedly turned against his victims, officers attached to the refurbished Special Investigative Unit, and individuals linked to the so-called Legal Pavilion project, including Asuquo, CSP Emmanuel, and ACP Bukola Kuti. These men and women deployed every available police resource to protect and promote Jesam’s Ponzi scheme, a scheme that scammed thousands of Nigerians, ruined families, destroyed savings, and left many permanently financially broken. To compound this injury, Jesam has now reportedly joined the ADC party and is being positioned to become a member of the House of Representatives in Cross River State. Even more disturbing is the fresh allegation that officers of the Force Intelligence Department are still assisting Jesam. ACP Bukola Kuti is reportedly still working for him. CP Fakorede, who was assigned to unravel the scam, was also allegedly co-opted. Meanwhile, the bulk of the stolen Ponzi funds allegedly remains in a crypto wallet controlled by Jesam’s wife, whom the police allegedly assisted in escaping. This is organized criminality operating from within the headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force itself.

After a lull in school abductions for over a year, how can we suddenly have two school abductions, a General killed, a church attacked during a livestream, and police officers attacked or killed? This is too coordinated to be coincidental. This is the playbook that was successfully used in Libya and Sudan. Look at those countries today. The plan is not to make us go the way of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger; it is to go the whole hog and convert Nigeria into a basket case of sectarian and ethnic fighting. If we allow the experiment to make Nigeria the third in the series, we will certainly regret it. I urge all Nigerians to stand by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and be loyal citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This series of events is too sudden, coordinated, and well-organised to be the result of happenstance. It is time for us to be circumspect with our words and actions and stand by our country in its time of need. The Genocide Against Christians in Nigeria: Setting the Record Straight The genocide against Christians in Nigeria did not begin with Boko Haram, ISWAP, or the recent Fulani jihadist attacks. It started long before these groups ever existed. For decades, radical Islamist mobs in northern Nigeria have been killing Christians and burning churches over the most senseless and unjustifiable reasons. Thousands of Christians were slaughtered and entire communities destroyed because of: Christian crusades and evangelism campaigns (such as in Kano, Kaduna, and Zaria in the 1980s and 1990s). The Miss World beauty pageant controversy in Kaduna (2002), where over 200 Christians were killed after riots sparked by a newspaper article. The Danish Mohammed cartoons (2006), which led to mobs killing Christians and burning churches even though the false cartoons were made in faraway Europe. False accusations of blasphemy, such as the 1987 and 1991 killings in Kafanchan and Bauchi, and many more recent examples like Deborah Samuel’s lynching in Sokoto (2022). Sharia riots (1999–2000) in places like Kaduna, where thousands of Christians were massacred when some northern states declared Sharia law. When thousands of Christians were killed in the north because Buhari lost elections was that the doing of Bokoharam? Did Bokoharam or Fulani Jihadists kill Deborah? No. It was her fellow student Jihadists. So, nobody should deceive Nigerians into thinking this genocide began with Boko Haram or Fulani terrorists. It has been a long, systematic campaign of religious hatred and violence against Christians, carried out under different names and excuses but driven by the same radical ideology.
