Alhamdulillah, Iran is not only thwarting the destabilizing plans of the United States and Israel but is also responding with firm resistance and counterattacks. Despite Israeli influence over much of the global media, the world is witnessing that aggression against Iran is proving extremely costly for Israel. Pakistanis are paying Rs120 per litre in taxes on petrol, yet the ruling elite continues to enjoy free fuel from the national exchequer. This injustice must end. The government must withdraw the recent increase in petroleum prices immediately!

A backbreaking PKR 55 per litre hike in petrol and diesel prices is sheer injustice to the common citizen. Instead of reducing the petroleum levy and taxes on petroleum products, the government has placed the entire burden on the public. When global oil prices fell to their lowest level in five years in recent months, the government, instead of passing the relief on to the public at that time, increased the petroleum levy. Now that prices are being adjusted again, the entire impact is once more being transferred to the public, which is unacceptable. #FuelPrices #PetrolDieselPrice #IranIsraelWar

Met with the Qatari Ambassador in Islamabad, H.E. Ali bin Mubarak Al-Khater. We had a detailed discussion on the situation that emerged after the attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States. The Government of Qatar—particularly the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani—has played an outstanding role in supporting the people of Palestine and Gaza and in efforts to promote peace. It is hoped that, in the current situation in the region as well, the Qatari government will continue to play its full role in promoting peace and stability.
