@ReeveErikson It wasn’t the agent I got (RIP) but the process of finding him. The process was draining. I’m so glad I am not in thralls of it anymore. It was like going back to middle school.

I wish I’d never wasted time looking for an agent. Yes, I eventually found one but the experience was disheartening and has permanently shrouded my outlook on the industry.
