They turn up in hi-vis jackets (often pink or yellow) with clipboards, leaflets pushing Israel boycotts, and they log addresses/responses: "supportive / not interested / no answer. "The hi-vis is deliberate — it gives a false air of officialdom or professionalism so householders are less likely to slam the door. Critics call it mapping "lack of support" (i.e. targeting Jewish or pro-Israel homes), especially when timed for Passover. Seen in Meersbrook/Woodseats recently with groups of ~25. Similar ops reported elsewhere. This isn't neutral canvassing. Know the tactic, film if they knock on yours, and push back if it feels like intimidation. Stay alert. @KieraDiss You see this on every motorway in the UK daily! Foreign drivers, no drivers license or international ones that have run out. Many have zero idea what the highway code is, but that includes UK drivers. Impaired driving through drugs, sheer ignorance and entitlement. Sums it up!

@GMB I’m sick of listening to the refrain: “I’m a single mum”. Are all the “single” fathers dead?

Personally, I would have required they all were arrested and their parents/carers come to collect them from police custody. Contrary to comments and narratives being pushed by some, this is not a policing problem, but rather an insight into what the future may hold. Young children during school half-term, decide to storm a store and cause absolute carnage, steal from the business in numbers and cause significant alarm to other members of the public while filming their criminal activity for content. Where does this sort of behaviour graduate to? What is the logical next step from this? How many of the parents of these children will know what they have been doing?

I am deeply concerned by the @scott_mills story, following his sacking by @BBC. Mills was allegedly investigated by the Metropolitan Police, with a file handed to the CPS who decided there was insufficient evidence to prosecute. If an individual can be investigated, cleared of prosecution due to insufficient evidence, & still face professional ruin, then we are entering dangerous territory. Institutions must be very careful not to substitute due process with reputational expediency. Justice cannot operate on suspicion alone, nor can fairness be preserved if allegations—untested in a court of law—are treated as proof. We must ask ourselves: are we upholding justice, or quietly dismantling it?

Reminder since Easter is next week that RABBITS ARE NOT TOYS, they are high maintenance animals who should not be purchased on a whim, they can live for over 10 years and are very sensitive animals who deserve loving and experienced owners thank you
