@TheLastOC @Nickisbackbaby I remember watching the undertaker hell in a cell match when I was 12, so brutal. It was the peak of blurring fakery with reality with Ken Shamrock and Dan severn in WWF, along with butter bean and Mike Tyson showing up and the infamous 'brawl for all' tournament.

@Nickisbackbaby Maybe the GOAT, if from the lens that this man got himself destroyed performing - Mick Foley (Mankind).

@basedganyu It's culture, plain and simple. Not genetics, but culture and culture can be improved and degraded depending on the standards everyone within that culture deems acceptable or not.

@Rainmaker1973 All motion is relative, so when you ask if it's in motion, I ask in motion relative to what?

@IamTheImmortal Realisticly people won't sign up with a streaming service for a new promotion, so YouTube memberships with a low price and the events streamed as member only videos is the way to go. Then highlights as shorts, and promos and interviews as free vids on the same channel.
English

@IamTheImmortal I've always thought PPV isn't dead, it's just massively over priced, if it's $2-$5 then for most people it's worth the money to not deal with all the bullshit popups, scams and interruptions on illegal streaming sites, when it was $50+ then dealing with the BS was worth it.

@Wildnfree1984 Look into the difference between grainfed and grassfed beef and dairy and you'll understand why NZ butter is worth more and sells for what the world is willing to pay for it, and also why the grain fed butter is low end. add in USA grain farming subsidies and it makes sense

Everything that is wrong with New Zealand 🇳🇿 in 1 product 🥴
Pam’s New Zealand butter
$7.19
Burtfields’s USA imported Butter
$5.99
How the hell can it be cheaper to ship butter all the way from
USA pack it & sell it $1.20 cheaper than our own home grown product?

@5h0na1 Because you are specifically in Australia you would say "I feel about as rooted as a slappa's cunt on a Sunday morning.". .....do not say this in any other country.

@Vicky22955256 Remember folks, when an account posts AI slop pretending it's real, and especially when they double down in the comments, use the block function, it's the best thing we can do to cleanse the internet of this garbage.

“An iwi group’s alleged demand for $180 million in order to approve the Bendigo Santana gold mine exposes how New Zealand’s resource management system has been warped by standover tactics and backroom dealing,” says ACT Resources spokesman @SimonCourtACT.
Kā Rūnaka say extracting $180 million from Santana has not been their ‘focus’, but they haven’t directly denied the report.
“It’s an outrage, but not one that surprises ACT,” says Mr Court. “Up and down the country, from minor subdivisions to major infrastructure, people are encountering standover tactics and sending me the receipts.
“In some cases, councils have effectively given iwi veto power through how they interpret the law. That creates a system where resource consent depends not on environmental effects, but on the applicant’s willingness to grease someone else’s palms.
“The fact a previous seven-figure payout for a hydro project was cited by Kā Rūnaka as a benchmark tells you everything. This is how rent-seeking becomes embedded.
“These costs get passed on in higher power bills, more expensive housing, pricier infrastructure, and in many cases, projects that just don’t go ahead.
“We should have a system where the question is simple: does the project meet environmental standards or not?
“What we have instead is a culture where people expect a pound of flesh for every sod turned. It’s opportunistic graft enabled by a broken law.
“ACT is replacing the Resource Management Act because we believe in clear rules, property rights, and a system where decisions are made on evidence – not ancestry.”

Nah, not President. But Congress, yes. And Nick Shirley is definitely a psycho scam artist.

@saltyreigns Productivity and GDP per capita. We're trending backwards there, causing #1, we can't afford luxuries like #2 & #3 and #4 isn't solving it.

@MikeySmithNZ NZ startup Openstar getting close to having Nuclear Fusion electricity generation up and running. Once they get that sorted, Energy cost will trend towards zero fairly quickly, no radiation or dangerous waste to worry about either. youtu.be/InM_yVUQ6dM?si…

@HusKerrs Creatine 10-15g per day (drink 5g with some kinda tea a few times per day makes it easy), rhodiola rosea supplements and no alcohol for you and her, all that will be a massive help with keeping it together while living with sleep deprivation for several months on end.
