This was created under one simple and in my opinion false assumption: More realistic = better. When in reality this is mostly the case: Art direction > realism. And this system does both wrong. Its "realism" is not realistic AND it destroys all intended art direction.

Yes that also cost work load but DLSS already improves FPS on most games by generating fake frames. It's not like Ray-Tracing or PhysX. At this point we don't know if it will be heavy or light.

When blending frames for frame gen, it will blend previous frame with an upcoming frame and sometimes it looks bad when trying to merge frames with motion blur. It's why most of what they showed off was very slow moving ppl.

@EmilyAYoung1 imo the problem is that it's not rendering the character. It's rendering a 2d frame from a 2d frame that is being created by a 3d model. Meaning characters will look different not only on different hardware but in different lighting and weather conditions. Going to be weird.
