@stevehou Hah. Love ya Steve but my experience with all my fellow china expats is overwhelmingly positive in reflection. Of course there are exceptions but many of those were pretentious dicks to begin with and had rigid expectations going in.

We just booked our family summer holiday and excited to announce we are returning to China 🇨🇳 for two months this summer 😃 Every year my wife and I bring our 3 kids back to China every summer to explore the country, help them learn Chinese, but most importantly embrace their Chinese roots and learn everything they can about Chinese history and culture. We are raising our kids to be global citizens. Each of them have 3 passports 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🇩🇪 and my daughter has a 4th passport 🇭🇰. We want them to speak as many languages as possible. Travel the world, and learn as much as they can 📚 Spending every summer in China is the best gift we can give them! And I wouldn't be surprised to see them attend university in China when that time comes 😃 Grateful to have the opportunity to go back to China 🇨🇳 it is the one country pushing the limits of tech every day. It is a beacon of safety and honestly one of the most incredible countries in the world to travel with children. Already planning a whole new series of YouTube videos that we will produce while in China this summer. Can't wait to share it all with you soon! 😊

@shaunrein So true. China help build americas middle class. Made businessmen rich. Allowed so much growth. And at the same time they learned how to grow and build their economy thru manufacturing and global cooperation. All the while America continues to spit in the face of China. Sad.

Why did they choose a picture of an Asian women shopping in a Chinese supermarket (as evidenced by red latterns for Chinese New Year)?

The US government is condemning China for violation of international law for using water cannons against Filipino fishing boats, while simultaneously blowing up Venezuelan fishing boats. The UK government is accusing China for freedom of speech violations, while simultaneously arresting 9700 British citizens this past year for speech offences. Make it make sense
Basil the Great@BasilTheGreat

The UK Government has released a statement condemning China for locking up a man on speech offences Last year the UK Government arrested 9700 of its own people for speech offences

Prince Andrew was just stripped of royal titles for working with Epstein—now do Trump. TRUMP: I don't know Prince Andrew, it's a tough story. I don't know him, no. FOX: Here is a photo of Trump alongside the Prince and First Lady at his party at Mar-a-Lago with Epstein, too. Trump claimed that he did not know Prince Andrew—but a resurfaced interview with People magazine from 2000 says otherwise—where Trump described Prince Andrew as "a lot of fun to be with." The article was re-released—just one day after he had denied knowing Prince Andrew during this press conference in London. #DemsUnited

On the way to my father's hometown of Haining, we saw this building on the outer suburbs of Shanghai. I think it's in Songjiang. What is that thing???

People like Chris’s here are relentlessly stupid. Why on earth would China want to destabilise Indonesia, they have just joined BRICS and have an amicable relationship with China. Even more crazy is this guy has millions of followers on YT that believe all what he says..

@Mappy6984 This girl has video of the exterior of her cell…. Interior of the cell…. And I bet it’s not even a high security suicide watch prison facility holding the most notorious trafficker in the world. But I bet they still use 1990 video with a minute missing every day as per usual.

First time I've ever seen this! Construction workers here in Chongqing China were using a massive drone to lift large stone blocks from the roadside to the other side of this hill. The sound in the background isn't the drone, which was relatively quiet, it's a nearby generator.

You won't believe what they're doing in China. This is the Chinese port in Guangzhou. People unload ships remotely with 5G, AND THEN, AI vehicles automatically drive the containers to trucks and load them, without human assistance. #WaytoModernization

@stevehou Confusion. Flood the zone. Keep people off balance. Maybe a strategy for business if you’re risky and have daddy’s money already. Not great if you’re running the country charged with being a solid foundation for global currency.

@thecyrusjanssen Where did this hate come from?!! It’s insanity. They helped make massive profits for American companies and delivered the ability to stretch the middle classes income to unheard levels. On top of it. They are humans who have an incredible country full of amazing people. Gross.

Here is a great example of someone who has ZERO understanding of how our world works. Bridgette wants to use tariffs to destroy China’s economy 🙄 but what Bridgette doesn’t understand is that America’s economy depends on China. Go walk through your house and see how many products are made in China. For the products that aren’t made in China, research and see how many parts come from China. The bottom line is simple: The US can’t decouple from China and China can’t decouple from the US. We’ve spent 40 years building up supply chains and working with China. It’s not China that would lose the most, it’s companies like Apple that would get crushed if they were cut off from China market Does Bridgette want to work in an American factory assembling iPhones? Better yet does she want to pay $30,000 for an iPhone manufactured in USA? (Not a typo, estimate from Forbes) World would be much better if US citizens traveled the world and understood how the global economy works
Brigitte Gabriel@ACTBrigitte

I support using tariffs to destroy China's economy. They deserve it and we will win.
