Closed both of these this morning. Could've probably let them run the week and expire worthless, but felt good about getting 75% or so of the premium in about 3-4 days.

Continuing to experiment with some options trading, here's what I put on today: • $META 10/24/25 Put 675/640 - credit spread ($2.68 credit) • $INTC 10/24/25 Put 33 CSP ($0.70 credit) $INTC has $TSM earnings tomorrow. I may close before their earnings next week, we'll see.

Starbucks (0.94% of my portfolio is $SBUX) misses on non-GAAP EPS of $0.68 vs $0.80 and misses on revenue of $8.56B vs $9.16B. This is what happens when you guys don't drink enough (expensive) lattes :P The company had 56 consecutive quarters of dividend payouts with CAGR of approximately 20% over that time period, demonstrating the company's commitment to consistent value creation for shareholders.

Some more info came out about the JNJ to Kenvue exchange offer:
It looks like JNJ shareholders can exchange some, all or none of of their shares for a 7% discount of Kenvue shares... You could receive ~$107.53 of Kenvue stock for every $100 of JNJ stock you exchange (subject to some limitations). Looks like mid-August for all this. I recommend reading the details on JNJ's site along with at JNJSeparation.com.

Johnson & Johnson (I'm long $JNJ) beats on non-GAAP EPS of $2.80 vs $2.62 and beats on revenue of $25.53B vs $24.67B. Guidance increased.
It sounds like JNJ intends to split off Kenvue ($KVUE) shares through an exchange offer, subject to market conditions. So I believe we only get KVUE shares if we exchange some of our JNJ shares for it (i.e. we will get to choose how many of our JNJ shares are exchanged and converted into KVUE). Makes sense but wasn't what I was hoping would happen (assuming I understand it correctly and my pre-coffee brain is working, lol).

PepsiCo (I'm long $PEP) beats on non-GAAP EPS of $2.09 vs $1.96 and beats on revenue of $22.32B vs $21.73B.
For fiscal year 2023, they now expects to deliver 10% organic revenue growth (previously 8%), and 12% core constant currency EPS growth (previously 9%).
Consistent with its previous guidance for 2023, Pepsi continues to expect: Total cash returns to shareholders of approximately $7.7 billion, comprised of #dividends of $6.7 billion and share repurchases of $1.0 billion.
