Zimbabwe Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 comes at the right time, reinforcing a forward-looking vision that places development at the centre of national priorities. While elections remain important, real progress is measured by the quality of roads we drive on, the strength of our education system, access to healthcare, and the productivity of our agricultural sector. The emphasis on infrastructure development is particularly commendable. Improved roads, bridges, and transport systems will unlock economic opportunities, connect rural communities, and stimulate investment. This is the kind of practical transformation that directly uplifts citizens. Equally important is the focus on education and skills training. Empowering young people with relevant, market-driven skills ensures that Zimbabwe builds a workforce capable of driving innovation and sustaining economic growth. This is how we prepare for the future. The prioritization of healthcare and social services also reflects a people-centred approach. A healthy nation is a productive nation, and strengthening healthcare systems will go a long way in improving livelihoods across the country. Furthermore, supporting agriculture as the backbone of the economy is critical. By investing in farmers, modern technologies, and sustainable practices, Zimbabwe can achieve food security while boosting rural economies. In essence, this amendment represents a shift from rhetoric to results—from promises to practical development. It is a call for unity, progress, and a shared national vision that benefits every Zimbabwean.

A CALL TO ACTION : PARLIAMENTARIAN MUST UNITE AND ENDORSE THE BILL FOR NATIONAL PROGRESS . As Zimbabwe continues on its path toward sustainable development and economic transformation under Vision 2030, it is imperative that all legislative efforts align with the aspirations of the people. The bill currently before Parliament represents more than just policy—it is a commitment to progress, innovation, and improved livelihoods for every citizen. The message is clear: “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo”—a nation is built by its own people. This guiding principle reminds us that the responsibility to shape Zimbabwe’s future lies in the hands of its leaders and citizens alike. Members of Parliament and Senators now stand at a crucial moment where their collective decision can accelerate development and unlock new opportunities across sectors. This bill has already garnered broad consensus, reflecting the voices and expectations of the majority. It is designed to strengthen infrastructure, enhance service delivery, and create an enabling environment for investment and job creation. Delays in endorsing such a progressive framework risk slowing down momentum at a time when urgency is needed most. Honourable Members, your role is not only to debate but to act decisively in the national interest. By signing and endorsing this bill, you affirm your commitment to the people you represent and to the shared vision of a prosperous Zimbabwe. The nation is watching, and the expectation is leadership that delivers. Let us move forward with unity of purpose. Let this be a defining moment where Parliament rises above divisions and prioritizes development. The time to act is now—endorse the bill and help build the Zimbabwe we all envision.

At the heart of the bustling Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), the Binga Rural District Council (BRDC) stand stood as a proud symbol of progress and possibility. Visitors moved in and out, drawn by the display of community-driven initiatives and the promise of development rooted in local empowerment. Inside the stand, three leaders stood together—Honourable Minister of State, Binga RDC CEO Mr J. Muzamba, and Council Chairman Mr Joseph Mwembe. Their presence reflected unity, leadership, and a shared vision for Binga’s growth. Dressed sharply and engaging warmly with guests, they embodied confidence in the district’s future. As they interacted with stakeholders and exhibitors, conversations flowed about investment opportunities, infrastructure development, and the potential of Binga’s people. The stand became more than just an exhibition space—it turned into a meeting point of ideas, partnerships, and hope. In that moment, captured in the picture, it wasn’t just about attending ZITF. It was about representing Binga with pride, showcasing its potential, and opening doors for a brighter, more prosperous tomorrow.

CAB3: A PATHWAY TO ACCELERATED INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN ZIMBABWE Story by Jah Guide Zimbabwe stands at a crucial point in its development journey, where bold decisions and forward-thinking policies are needed to unlock the nation’s full potential. The call to support CAB3 is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: creating the necessary conditions for sustained infrastructure development that benefits every citizen. Infrastructure is the backbone of any thriving economy. From modern highways that ease transportation and reduce travel time, to upgraded airports that connect Zimbabwe to global markets, investment in infrastructure lays the foundation for growth. CAB3 recognizes this reality and seeks to create more time, stability, and focus for such long-term national priorities. The message in the campaign is clear—development is not an event, but a continuous process. Roads, public facilities, and community projects do not appear overnight; they require consistency in leadership, planning, and execution. By supporting CAB3, citizens are supporting a framework that prioritizes continuity, ensuring that ongoing projects are completed and new ones are initiated without unnecessary disruption. Communities across Zimbabwe stand to benefit directly. Improved roads mean better access to markets for farmers and businesses. Modern airports enhance tourism and international trade. Public facilities such as hospitals, schools, and administrative centers strengthen service delivery. These developments collectively create more opportunities—jobs, investment, and improved standards of living. Beyond physical infrastructure, CAB3 symbolizes a vision for a better future. It speaks to intergenerational progress—building today with tomorrow in mind. A nation that invests in infrastructure invests in its people, empowering them with the tools and environment needed to succeed. Supporting CAB3 is, therefore, more than backing a policy—it is endorsing a vision of a stronger, more connected, and more prosperous Zimbabwe. It is about choosing progress, stability, and opportunity for all. #CAB3 #vision2030

ZITF: THE BIG DEBATE Tomorrow at 10:30 we are hosting the Big Debate at the @InfoMinZW Pavilion. The gallery is not big enough to accommodate the seat demand, so we have put a big screen outside the stand and there will be a delayed TV screening. #CAB3bho

It’s important to recognise acts of generosity when they uplift others and promote unity. What Wicknell Chivhayo has done reflects a culture deeply rooted in our values—where giving is not about divisions, but about strengthening the collective. In a time when differences often dominate public discourse, gestures that cut across political lines remind us that nation-building is a shared responsibility. The spirit of “kubata pamwe”—working together—becomes more meaningful when backed by tangible action. Indeed, as the saying goes, “munhu anoramba achipihwa kana achipa.” Recognising such contributions encourages a culture where success is not only measured by accumulation, but by impact. Let’s continue to promote unity, appreciation, and the spirit of giving that defines us as Zimbabweans.

People of Zimbabwe, join me in expressing appreciation to Sir Wicknell Chivhayo @wicknellchivayo. Zvakakosha kutenda munhu achiri kurarama. He has demonstrated a remarkable spirit of giving, extending generosity across political lines. Just imagine, a donation of US$3.6 million to be shared among all 360 members of Parliament and Senate. This is truly extraordinary and reflects the unique spirit of our nation, a country known for its faith and unity. As my mother always says, munhu anoramba achipihwa kana achipa, true wealth is sustained by a generous heart. What Sir Wicknell Chivhayo is doing deserves recognition and appreciation from all of us, regardless of political affiliation. Let us celebrate the spirit of giving. @edmnangagwa @ZANUPF_Official @Zinasuzim @DeptCommsZW @SokoCindy @snowballOfficia @ZimFirstLady @ParliamentZim @DinhamercyHon
