Appreciate the shout out by @CASpeakerRivas & work of #AB1540 author @AsmMikeFong. Together, we’re going to help #RenewTheDream for undocumented students & simplify accessing aid. This is 1 way we’re working toward a “Better CA Dream Act App” to go with the new #BetterFAFSA.

#AB1400 will empower more transfer students to pursue a four-year degree at #HBCUs & bring their talent back to CA. Yesterday, this passed the Asm by a UNANIMOUS vote. Now onto the Senate! #caleg Major thanks to Asm. @isaacgbryan for leading the charge!

READ THIS: We need to streamline the process for undocumented students. Period. We also need to invest in helpful high school dream resource centers for students BEFORE they leave high school so that they can better understand the systems and resources.
