I've been enjoying my "return" to Rocket League.
So glad I basically never lost my rank!
But, I also remembered I stopped playing because I never had ppl to jump in game with, and got really tired of adapting to every play style under the sun.
I'm starting to feel that again...

Both are true at the same time.
COD's too big to lean to 1 side.
The main experience should feel casual/accessible enough for anyone to have fun.
But it shouldn't also cripple the skill ceiling.
I can't care about that until they provide a better online experience to start.

Full agree with this!
WZ can be a lot of fun!
But it’s been a few years and well, they’re too busy rebuilding WZ w/ every integration to really nail down the experience.
Still doesn’t mean they’ll use better quality servers, tighten up netcode, keep aim assist in check, etc etc

I just want to say I’m well aware I’m so annoying about this WZ stuff but it’s the fact I KNOW the potential WZ has as much as everyone wants to convince you it’s dead, when done properly WZ has had tremendous turnout and support. I’m so so passionate about trying to get things done, not even to an Apex level, but to a level where both the viewer and the player are eager to be involved. Because it CAN be done and not a ridiculous budget. Just tweaking things that are currently not being utilized.

Nevermind an anti-cheat, there's QoL updates Psyonix/Epic could've added over time and never did until this year.
Even then, there's still more they could & should add such as custom map browser. Instead of relying on Bakkes mod.
They leaned on the community for far too long.

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment.
Rocket League has been done dirty for years.
EAC will be added (better than the nothing we have)
It takes a little more than flipping a switch.
At the same time there's no reason for us to be patient.

Je pense qu’il est temps que les choses changent à propos de Rocket League et d’Epic Games. Je n’ai pas parlé depuis quelque temps, mais la situation du jeu est dramatique. Ce qui fait vivre Rocket League, c’est l’esport, de par son intensité, sa facilité de compréhension, mais avant tout le niveau individuel incroyable de tous les joueurs professionnels. Vous savez où je veux en venir : bots et DDoS. Nous avons dû créer des serveurs Discord pour essayer de jouer de manière compétitive, mais ce n’est pas la solution miracle. C’est compliqué à gérer, pas facile d’accès, puis évidemment nous ne pouvons pas rassembler tous les joueurs du monde entier. Le problème étant que le niveau global des joueurs régresse et que notre temps de jeu est divisé par deux ou par trois. Epic Games, faites quelque chose tout de suite. À tous mes amis créateurs de contenu : ce n’est pas normal pour vous non plus d’avoir à subir ça. Les gens ne regardent plus Rocket League, les streamers perdent potentiellement leur communauté et peuvent perdre leur métier. Il est temps de réaliser que nous ne pouvons plus attendre, sinon Rocket League finira comme Rocket Racing. Rassemblons la communauté et formons qu'un. #RLNEEDCHANGES

Plus better servers, strong anti-cheat, server hosting, no manipulative matchmaking, no cranked aim assist.
It’s a license to print money.

It's really hard to not be considered extremely negative.
"J you hate everything"
is what i've been told for a long time.
But I'm extremely passionate about games. I love them more than most people could imagine.
so when a dev does something abysmally stupid it irks me.
