As I left @GCC_FB’s facilities today, I was reminded of what basically linked @D3FBHuddle to the program nearly six years ago. JB & I had our first opportunity to host the @ECACSports Bowl Announcement Show in 2018, and we realized at the last minute that Grove City had snapped an 0-33 streak a year earlier before leaping to a 7-3 season in 2018. At the last minute, I decided to place their Bowl announcement last based on this to build a little drama. Little did we know the reaction it would lead to — when we saw this video on Twitter, we realized we had made friends for life in the Wolverines. Visiting Grove City is always a positive experience, and I couldn’t be happier for @CoachDiDonato and his team to have the success they’re experiencing after sharing this moment that provided a reward for their hard work to change the culture of the program. To all the teams struggling to win throughout #d3fb, remember Grove City’s story to understand that you, too, can create a culture of winning and success… it isn’t impossible as long as you work hard at it and take nothing for granted on the way up.
