George Long is an absolutely terrible goalkeeper. How on earth we're happy with him as backup I don't know. Really really shit.

@BethnalYG Completely agree. Summed up by the third goal yesterday where he showed strength and had the composure to find Slimani rather than just hoof the ball away.

Obviously still a small sample size, but his introduction, has been a large part of the reason Norwich have improved significantly in the Watford and Derby game at building up attacks.

Have been very impressed by Cordoba's ability to progress the ball. I checked the numbers and no one in the Championship has progressed the ball further through passes and carries than he has (per 90).

AJ completely outclassed by Dubois. Even when he had a sniff at the end there, the previous knockdowns had done for him. Sad to see it end that way, but it’s all been downhill since the Klitschko fight.

Ex pro who headed the ball too much not taking a second to think ‘maybe they shouldn’t be launching kicks into the box’ and actually encouraging passing and build up play instead…

I watching my lads under 10s team. The most rediculous rule I’ve ever seen. They have got rid of thrown ins for kick ins but at the same time abandoned headers!!!! So kids are launching kick ins into the box but boys can’t header it. It’s so stupid…

I agree with Ian on most things, but these two things he is so wrong on because he’s reference points are skewed.

As with public transport (Ian thinks is easily available to everyone because he lives in London), because he smokes it’s OK to breathe smoke all over people who want to sit outside. There’s nothing worse than trying to enjoy a pint with someone smoking like a chimney near you.

Banning smoking in an outside space is the worst kind of prurient, hectoring, interfering, puritanical bullshit. No health basis to it whatsoever. Just a flat-out act of social control.

I think from time to time @AyoCaesar makes valid points but this is nonsense. Visit the equivalent places around the UK to the ones you’re citing in Europe and you’ll find similar traditions thriving. London and our major population centres are a terrible comparator.
